TheManTheSmithTheLegend: I'm just gonna premiere the video now. Can't be arsed to make it official. Here we go:
OOC: Apologies for the size of the last picture. This was a very rushed RP, admittedly, but I just wanted to get the music video out. Mind - Nothing Ever Bothers Me Now Jason REALLY likes checkered shirts. The video starts with blackness fading into a studio setting. Everyone is setting up their instruments. The camera then pans out and reveals that the studio is just a setting in an abandoned warehouse. There is no sound or music. Jason then starts talking to someone inside the recording booth angrily, as if he’s fed up of something. Eventually, after giving him a middle finger, he makes his way to the microphone in the studio. We then see the man inside the booth, who is a caricature of the devil. The camera then pans back into Jason and, with his introduction scream, the song kicks off, and the band start playing their instruments. Jason starts singing and using his hands to convey the emotions. He looks straight at the camera and smiles in a sinister way, still singing. The whole setting and feel of the video remains for the entirety of the first verse. After the first verse, we are suddenly transported to outside the warehouse, with the band sitting on the pavement and Jason still singing along. Stevie is drumming the pavement with his sticks and the rest of the band is in various positions. In the pre-chorus, we return to the abandoned warehouse, except it is now with a crowd and the band are on a stage. The band then performs the chorus as they would do normally. Keep rollin', rollin', rollin'...After the chorus, we are taken back outside, and the band is all stuffed into a car. Jason is singing along as he normally would do, while the other members of the band sit in the car, bored and looking around. At the end of the verse, the car stops and it returns to the stage for the chorus. Except the stage is now out in the open air and has grown significantly. Then, suddenly, the music stops. You hear the sound of someone drowning underwater and the video fades out. From the blackness, it then fades into a half naked Jason submerged in a foetal position underwater, wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask. Mechanical noises then emerge and the water slowly drains out. Once all the water drains out, Jason takes off his mask and smiles evilly. He stands up, and walks slowly, as if his feet were made of lead, towards a white door. He puts on the rest of his clothes and makes his way out of what now seems like a chamber. The sound of a crowd cheering “MI-IND, MI-IND, MI-IND” fades in and Jason raises his arms like a crazy dictator as he makes his way into the light. "Is he touching my arse?"All sound then cuts out completely again as Jason picks up his guitar and makes his way to the microphone. His scream in the last segment of the song marks it picking up again, and the band proceeds to play the rest of the song as they would do live. Jason dives into the crowd who are singing along and interacts with them. At the end of the song, the sound cuts out and the video fades into the warehouse again, with the entire band strapped to chairs and duct tape over their mouths. They each are only wearing vests and pants. It is then revealed that the band playing on the stage are, in fact, clones. The badges on the bands shirts read “Aeronaut”, “Paladin”, “Character”, “Juggernaut” and “Wanderer”, references to previous Mind songs. The clone band make their way backstage, see the real band and laugh. Jason, or “Character”, makes his way to the real Jason and takes out a knife. The shot fades to the real Jason and Character both together, with the Character about to plunge the knife in. Just as he does, an alarm clock rings. Jason wakes up, looks confused and sits on the edge of the bed. After gathering his thoughts, he gets up and sees his clothes with a badge on saying “Character”. Everything then pans out quickly to a still shot of the Earth. Then, the words “Illuminati rules, ok” are scrawled hastily over the camera, followed by “bullshit” in what appears to be blood and the video ends with demonic laughing.
