RyanRossHernandez: Debating what the OFFICIAL first single off of Running Changes should be. A folk song? A rock song? A country song? A blues song? Some strange mixture of them all to create a new genre? Nah, that won't ever work. What's written in stone can't be erased. |

QuixoticQuillington: @RyanRossHernandez; If ever there was a lone man capable of creating a new genre, I have no doubt whatsoever that it'd be you. |
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis (Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk) Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles (Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.) Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist Matt Roberts - Bass Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals "When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope." - Stephen King |

RyanRossHernandez: @QuixoticQuillington I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely agree. I'm just not the kind of artist who expands his mind in such way, that I'm capable to make experimental music. I have a music dictionary in my head, but I don't exactly have a thesaurus to be able and sync so many sounds together in a way that is both good and organic. |

QuixoticQuillington: @RyanRossHernandez; same here, in a way. I try to move beyond the typical 'verse/chorus/verse' structures found in most songs, but that's just about as experimental as I've gotten. Well, aside from not doing many guitar solos, but that just makes me boring. I dunno if you'd agree with me when I say this, but you and I really need to get together in the studio sometime; we'd change the world. #HasMassiveEgo |

RyanRossHernandez: @QuixoticQuillington I honestly just dislike the term "experimental," in general. I'd much rather make one song with this idea in mind, than stuff one song with all the ideas in my head just to create some cluster-fuck and say, "Oh, I'm a fucking bad-ass because I'm making experimental music. Fuck mainstream." Fucking idiots. If we ever do go into the studio together, we may cause some deaths. I'm not sure the world can take that much brilliance/massive egos, all at once. The more I think about it, the more you and I have in common, to be honest. |

QuixoticQuillington: @RyanRossHernandez; as you're a man who gets idolized on a daily basis, I'm sure you'd just get irritated if I said something like 'I've idolized you since the early days of PANIC!, so it's amazing for you to find similarities between us'. Even though that's how I feel. I also totally agree with what you say about experimental music; after a while, it can just get irritating. I'd take the simple joy of 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall' over anything on Radiohead's 'King of Limbs', any day. |
