Sammy can't help but smile as she keeps saying 'awww'. He shrugs his shoulders, "I really don't know, i suppose every type of music has its phases. And people think that if one person can do it, then why can't they, so they keep on working and then it happens. I tend to find that some people help to drag other people up with them."

Sammy smiles, but is slightly confused as to why she is stamping her foot, "Not really, i am my own artist and i like others, but i wouldn't say i look up to them..."



OOC: right i'll be back on in like 30 minutes, i'll continue then.

He nods, "that is exactly it. I don't want to be thought of as 'the next' anybody, i just wanna be me."
He stops to think for a second, "Currently, I am listening to Aaron's album all the time, it's so good! I also listen to Katie Coyle's album, and am really looking forward to hearing her new EP as well. I'm also digging Mykyaylah right now, that track she did with Buzz & Hype is so good!! And obviously, there is Buzz & Hype. Everybody seems to like them though as they have been killing the charts recently!"

"Well, i'm currently touring with Aaron Marks and Kayla Rivers, it's great to be on tour with them. I'm also writing for an album, which will be released some time next week. The album cycle wont be happening for a while though either, because i want to have at least most of the album written before i start working on it all. But yeah, i am releasing a single from that last EP on Sunday; it will be a live song that i am performing at the end of this interview!"

Sammy laughs, "Yeah i did, but i meant next year!"

Sammy runs his right hand through his long scruffy ginger hair, and the bracelets fall down his wrist a little, he screws up his face as he thinks, "erm... it's gonna sound really stupid, but i actually think Love Actually is my favourite film.. It's just so funny!"

Sammy smiles, "Yeah it is good isnt it?" he laughs, "I have never actually thought about that, but i'd probably have to go for Rupert Grint, because he is ginger too!"

Sammy laughs, "Red Heads for the win indeed!" he smiles at her again and scratches his left arm. "My ideal dinner guests would be... Jack Whitehall, because he is actually hilarious; Eric Quillington, because he is absolutely mad; and of course, you." He winks and then laughs again.

Sammy laughs, "Sorry, Eilidh!" he smirks again, "Well for the next five years, i hope to have released two or three solid albums, and got a couple of top 10 singles, with a solid fan base who are gonna support me through thick and thin. And maybe be in a solid relationship by the end of those five years too, but not too soon." he laughs again.

Sammy picks up his old battered guitar and smiles at Elidh, “Thank you very much, and thank you for this interview, I do have a track to play now for everybody here. I’m going to be releasing this live version of the track as a single as well. It’ll hopefully do well, and I suppose it’ll probably be an official single from that last EP to keep people ticking over before the album cycle starts.”
He gentle runs his fingers over the strings and it makes a quiet noise. “Okay then, this one is one of my favourite tracks that I’ve written. It’s called Your Real Disguise, and I suppose I should start playing it now.” He laughs quietly and then runs his hand quickly through his messy ginger hair.

Sammy’s fingers caress the strings again and he plays a simple guitar riff. As the riff increases in pace and complexity Sammy starts to nod his head and roll it around on his neck. He is completely relaxed and is playing it perfectly still. A mystical vibe starts to come from this riff which fits in with the name of the song already, the mystical vibe linking with the idea of a disguise. The riff gets about half way through and then Sammy starts to sing.



Sammy looks directly into the camera and smiles. When he smiles his eyes light up, this emphasises how much he really does love performing and music just generally. Now the rhythm on the guitar changes slightly and moves onto something much more jumpy. The transition is very sudden, yet works very well.



The first verse finishes and Sammy steps up his vocal performance now. He shows his vocal range by powerfully blasting out a chorus which helps him to connect with the audience, allowing him to be inclusive of all of the people that have ever felt this way. His strumming his increased in pace and then he makes one last strum half way through the last line allowing it to fade as he finishes it.
Now the song leads into the second verse. It speeds up again and continues with the jumpy rhythm that was introduced in the first verse.



The verse ends without much spectacular happening, but it then leads into yet another powerfully sung chorus. This helps to really capture the spirit of the song and as Sammy inhales at the end, it is clear to the viewers that Sammy is really into this song and getting really involved. He quickly plucks at the guitar a few times and then heads straight into the rapped verse of the song.



The song finishes and Sammy’s head dips as if the trance of the music has been lifted. He looks back up into the camera and smiles. “Thank you very much, I am Sammy Griffin, that was ‘Your Real Disguise’, it’ll be available for download on Sunday, go and get it!!”
