*In a spoken intro*
“In the year 2384 in a galaxy far, far away humans have colonized large amounts of planets. Mankind were once the most powerful species in the Universe. Humans have created a race of androids that look exactly like humans. They even think and act like them. These androids have taken over the human-world, and enslaved all of mankind. A small minority of escaped human-slaves are building a massive war between the two worlds. Who will win in the end?”The song
“Welcome to the Digital Age” is played, and we get a glimpse of the cyberpunk city. We see glimpses of screens everywhere with the planets dictator “X10N” telling people to “work harder, be stronger, and believe in your government” the clip is played over and over with the caption “We Are Watching You”. Giselle (Oria) is running down the street with two officers after her. She runs on top of rooftops, and slide down pipes to a dead end alleyway. She slowly turns around…
Oria: Haha, you got me! You really got me.
Officer 1: *points his gun*Shut up! Drop the file!
Oria: Sure *throws the file to the other side* Come and get it
Officer 2: Go get the file! And you miss, you better not get smart and do something stupid.
Oria: *smirks* Now why would I do that?
As the officer is going to get the file, Oria paces for him to get closer. Just as he’s next to her she knocks him out, and quickly shoots the other officer.
Oria: That was too easy
She grabs the file and quickly runs to a secret area to meet Triton, an outcast scientist. She gives him the file and says, “I got it”. The file has top secret government information, that Oria stole. Triton’s lab is a small, dark dusty room, that smells of mothballs, and old age. Littered ceiling high with computer and robot parts, and a small desk pilled high is odd things, that are outdated like books, and scrap paper.
Triton: You sure you weren’t followed *looking around frantically*
Oria: Of course I’m sure, anyway it was a piece of cake getting it, especially for such an important file. What is in it?
Triton: *inserts file into computer* Nothing unusual for a government file….Hmm, take that back, now what is this?
Oria and Triton examine what appears to be a plan for a mass human genocide.
Oria: Oh my God! This can’t be real, tell me this is a joke.
Triton: I’m afraid it isn’t, I knew this day would come. It’s just that no one has noticed it.
Oria: What exactly do you mean Triton?
Triton: What I mean is, androids outnumber humans, and you can’t tell the difference between the two species. Our government is controlled by androids; it was bound to happen that humans would have to be removed.
Oria: No, this is an outrage! We must stand up to them, we must fight!
Triton: *smiles* I couldn’t agree more!
Oria immediately leaves and goes on her bike (think of the one used in Tron) and rides to the camp to warn her brother Jaxe.
Oria: Jaxe their gonna have us all killed. Now is the time for us to fight. Round up the army, I’m going in the central system to slow down their response time.
Jaxe: What do you mean their gonna have us all killed?
Oria: We don’t have enough time to talk, all I can say is they were planning to have all humans wiped out. We need to surprise attack them, now is the time for humanity to seize the moment.
Jaxe quickly gets the men prepared; Oria breaks into the central area, and tries to slow down the androids. The music begins.
Giselle speaks the intro, which sounds like a multitude of voices speaking along.
“Looking for a better way of life, we fight for our freedom, our right to live, and our right to think. This is a revolution for the common good, will you fight for your right, or will you stand back and have everything taken away from you?“Scenes of people are shown; packing their weapons, building defenses, and saying goodbye to loved ones are shown. The soldiers all come together, and Jaxe gives the men a speech to boost morale.
The synth solo is played and Giselle sings the first verse in a smooth, whispery voice.
“Free your mind, relax and unwind,
This won’t hurt a bit, it’s time for progression,
No more oppression of our minds,
Free from all ignorance and prejudice,
No more bigotry and illiteracy,
Time for us to open our eyes and be free,
Remove all bias and come together as one"
As Giselle sings, images of suffering, hate, oppression, is shown. The android and humans begin to battle it out, the android outnumber the humans.

As Giselle sings the chorus, the humans begin to change the tides, and the androids begin to lose. As this happens the sky begins to clear, the sun begins to come out.
"Our children are the future,
Show them a brighter day
Teach them right and not wrong
See people as your sister and your brother
And not strangers or enemies
Open your minds,
and let your hearts show you the way,
that’s the path to freedom”
As Giselle sings the last verse, the earth begins to shake; the buildings crumble, and fall apart. The sky is clear, and the humans cheer for they know they won the final battle against the androids. They remove their shackles, open the prisons, and reunite with loved ones. The video ends with credits, and the song “
What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong is played and the caption saying “
To Be Continued”.
MEANING:
The meaning of the video is blatant. The androids represent the evils in today’s world, the humans the good. The evil at first seem to be in control, but ultimately it’s the good that wins. When the buildings crumble and the sky clears, that’s representing a new world, and a new beginning.
