Next Day

Gia had been driving around until she had finally reached her destination. She figured today was a good day to get out of the house and what better way to spend it than to pay a visit to someone she knew. She parked her truck on the side of the street and got out, slowly and cautiously approaching the sidewalk. She was dressed comfortably and accordingly to the weather which was a little cool outside today. She had on a sweater with some jeans and some sneakers. Her hair was a little curly and she managed to put on some make up to make herself not look so sad and depressed like she has been lately. She took a deep breathe, unsure what was about to happen in the next few minutes but it was something she felt she needed to do. It was no secret now about her husband's affair with one half of the band Hey Lolita but everything seemed to still be a daze to her and today she wanted some straight answers. She walked up the small steps, staring at the door. She hesitated at firs but then managed to give a light knock on the door.

Gia jumped a little when she shut the door in her face. "What the hell.." She suddenly felt a little angry at her response but she could understand, after all she did attempt to kill her on that day. Gia sighed and knocked again, this time while shouting. "I'm not going to attack you this time, please." She stood back and waited for her to answer, hoping she would. Honestly, she didn't know if she was going to fully contain herself from trying to kill her again but she knew she had to at least sound sincere to get in the house.

Gia stared at her for a bit, feeling that insecure, inferior feeling she usually felt when she heard her name, saw her face or recently when she was around her. "I'm not here to cause anything...I just wanna talk. Can I come inside?"

Gia walked inside, making her way all the way to the living room. She figured she was probably being rude right now just walking in but that was the least of her worries. She sat down, looking across the room. "So....how are you?" She realized it was probably a silly question but she wanted to break the silence. She looked and saw her visible swollen face from where she had hit her.

Gia nodded a little. "That's an understatement.." She sat her hands in her lap which were in front of her belly. She often would rest her hands on them whenever she was nervous or something and that's exactly where her hands ended up. She then quickly took them off and laid them back in her lap, clearing her throat. "So, I'm guessing you're aware of the news getting out to the public now? I didn't tell anyone, just if you wondered.."

"Who told then?" She leaned back on the sofa, still looking at her. She hadn't looked at her for longer than a second before staring at the floor, obviously feeling guilt. Gia sort of felt bad for her but then every time she did, her mind shot back to that day at the office and it soon faded away. She wasn't forced into the affair, she knew Scott was married but she didn't care....so why should she?

"Oh." she said quietly. She stared at the floor for a while before looking up to break the silence once again. She had remembered everything Scott had said to her and didn't believe him so now she wanted to hear it from Arianna herself. "Was it just sex? Or was it something more? Did you have feelings for him?" She realized how quiet the room got again as she looked over at her, awaiting her reply. It was something she was struggling to grasp herself unless she had heard it from both of them. What would she do if she answered it the way she hoped she wouldn't?

Gia shook her head. "Don't lie to me, please, I can't handle anymore lies right now..just tell me the truth; was it more than sex? Maybe it was different for you than him..I don't know. I'm not gonna get mad about, there's nothing I can do, look at me. I'm 5 months pregnant, I'm not gonna brawl with you in your own home." She smiled a little which didn't look like a happy smile but a sad one. She knew that she wouldn't want to risk anything and she was keeping her anger controlled. "I mean 2 months....it had to be more right?"

"Okay, I'll take your word for it then." She nodded a little. "Did he even mention me at all? Or his child? Or was it just a non personal kind of thing where you guys didn't talk about personal lives and just did the deed?" She pushed a piece of hair from her face as she could feel herself getting a little upset. Surely she had to know about her, their relationship wasn't exactly a secret. "Did you just not care that he was married with a child and another on the way, or maybe that would have blocked your judgement from sleeping with him in the first place, and you definitely didn't want that did you Arianna? You just wanted my husband.."

"Of course, no one ever thinks about it, it's just sex." She sighs and holds her head in her hands. What was she doing there? She didn't want to know the answers to these questions but it was the only way she could ease past this. "So there were never any meetings, every time he came home late he was with you. When he should have been at an appointment with me, he was in a m-meeting with you." She shook her head. "So you never once felt any remorse right? Not until I caught you of course, then you suddenly saw the light and realized the error of your ways!"
