I had never even heard of All Time Low until myself and Forkboy sat and watched a horrible Kerrang countdown of supposedly the 100 best videos in the universe, and not one of our predictions came true because instead of popular rock videos, it was popular rock videos apparently of the last couple years with all manner of bland-as-fuck bands in bland-as-fuck videos. No Electric Six or RHCP or anything at least mildly amusing, just some shitty punk band playing a wedding and then realising it was the wrong venue before turning into a straight rock show video, and Paramore playing in a desert with festival goer comments of "oh she's so hot!"

Do Green Day still always top those awful chart countdowns with American Idiot?

No I don't know who was top, but I can tell you American Idiot wasn't even top 10. Number 2 was 30 Seconds to Mars in some ridiculously expensive oriental war thing. We didn't stick around for the whole of number 1 because as soon as it was announced we both went "what the fuck?"

Regardless, I think you're a stronger man than most for sitting through all of Kerrang's absolute rubbish, hahah.

I hate when people think Blink-182 created pop-punk. All Time Low and Fall Out Boy are influenced by Blink but I don't think neither sound like Blink rip-off's, but that might just be because pop-punk is my favorite genre and I hate Blink for some reason.

How can you like pop punk yet hate Blink? Plus, they did make punk pop. They were the first to release a punk pop record. Everyone else who released punk before them released punk rock.

What is musically speaking the difference between punk pop and punk rock?

It was fun to mock them. And laugh at idiots at festivals giving their opinions about music videos, for example, how Slash playing guitar in the desert on November Rain was "SO EPIC!"

Pop Punk is much more directed to the masses, with usually catchy chorus and a "softer" voice. Punk Rock is a more raw sound (and the vocal is "manlier" :P).
Speaking generally, I know there are exceptions. To compare, listen to Ramones and then Sex Pistols.
I own:

Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic)
Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird)
