Originating in Windsor, Ontario, the band is comprised of one person: Frontman, Lyricist and Instrumentalist Trent D'Amour. Born in Lake Orion, Michigan, Trent, the son of a mechanic and a nurse, learned to play piano at a young age by banging the keys along to the radio. Ever since he was a boy, he knew there was a place for him in the music industry. Even while working two jobs at a car wash and as a janitor in a mental hospital, he found time for music, recording demos in his basement at night, playing all the instruments himself. In 2011, he was finally able to secure some recording time and session musicians, but it was not meant to be. Plagued by writer's block and unsure what direction the music was going in, the project, then called "Noisescape" was abandoned. But now Trent is starting anew with SHADOWMACHINE, and is looking to secure a recording contract and start on his path to stardom. Lyrically, though, it's a bit darker. "I grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan," says bandleader/lyricist Trent D'Amour. "I can safely say that if I hadn't moved up to Windsor, I'd be a redneck. All reissues will have corrected artwork. If you've got a copy that says SHADOWMACHINGE, then hold onto it because they're not gonna be making it anymore. - Trent

Maybe in 20 years people will pay thousands for a copy of the Shadowmachinge single. I can only hope. ooc: i saw the pink cover version of walk among us at a flea market for like 10$. i didn't have enough so i just went home and cried. on a completely unrelated note, i went to a devin townsend concert yesterday and some douchebag knocked me over in the pit and i dislocated my knee.
