I will go with Brandon. I am planning on covering some challenging stuff and 5 years off the instrument is probably a little long to come right back and play at the level I need. I am sorry Blaine.

I am still unsure as to whether I want to handle the drums or not. If not, I don't see why you can't you play.

So for only two people have signed up for solos and to play the guitar and bass parts on different tracks. If you want to get a spot during a solo or in the band you need to sign up before I assign everything to the few people who have talked to me first.

A-hrm. I've never done this before. Being a spokesperson, I mean, not jazz. I do jazz. That's my thing. As you probably know, me, the keyboardist, and the multi-instrumentalist of Enoch have a jazz trio that we play in on the side named Pharaohs. We just released our fifth jazz album, in fact, not counting our three earlier live albums. The line-up for Pharaohs is always guitar/piano/drums. Oh yeah, and their names are Xan on piano (don't ask; his name is Christian and we constantly rag on him for his stupid nickname) and Lex on drums.

Anyway, I'd love to be your guitarist for the band and maybe take a couple solos, if you don't mind. Also, the bassist of Enoch, Mark, would love to play on "Groove Machine" and "It's All Been Done Before". Let us know if you are interested. Oh, and one more thing. Xan is willing to play piano solos. We're not particular.

Forefathers is taken as only one person signed up to play doublebass and that is what that song requires, Play On however is yours.

The band is filled up, there are still some solo spots left open. If you want a solo spot please sign up for it by Wednesday March 3rd. The sheet music is being sent to everyone right now so make sure to practice and get ready. I am looking to get into the studio for this album. We are going to be recording in L.A. so if you could make sure you are available to travel that would be fantastic. The tentative dates we have the studio booked for are March 8-12. If there is a problem please let me know so we can work out either a replacement or moving the dates.

So the big question is what label would like to release this album? A collaboration between artists of this caliber is sure to make a great addition to any label's catalog.

Also for those of you in the band we need to come up with a name for this album and for the band. Please post any suggestions for either below.

Name: The Jazz All-Stars
Album Name: Channel Two Suite (a not so subtle jazz reference for those that get it)

OOC:Why not release it independently? Indie releases always sound real cool..
BTW I've got some suggestions for the band name and album name
Band Name: Smooth
Album Title: Under The Blue Moon

Indie works but it may not have the success of a big time release.
How about Band Name: Celestial Ride
I can't think of an album title at the moment though ha

I offer the services of Shiny Metal Ass Records to help put this out...we have some of the participants (The Theosophical Society) on our label participating in the All Stars and think this would be a brilliant addition. Get back to me if your interested. Will be watching out for this.
