The Rock and Indie/Alternative inspired track was recorded while on tour with Carmen Grant in Houston, Texas and was uploaded by the singer herself through her website. Matter of Time is five minutes and forty-two seconds long with very minimal production. As far as songs go, it is nothing short of awe inspiring and another page from Moretti as she focuses more on the quality of the song, producing the track on her own. With her time on tour, she's also been working with other artists and expanding her songwriting skills. She's appeared on some famous tracks for the likes of Kourtney, Jennifer Armstrong, and more. Moretti has expressed her interest with collaborating with other artists but so far she's relied on her own small source of celebrity and it's paid off. She's gained more respect from peers, even though she had already done so with her first record. 'Matter of Time' was written in a few days, recording while she traveled from city to city and uploaded the finished product. Moretti's 'love-sick' lyrics are left to be interpreted however the listener may see fit and it's this hint of mystery which gives the track it's illustrious shine. Although the production is another matter itself, with the same if not less attention on it, Moretti seeks to provide a minimal balance. The guitar driven track really focuses more on her vocals, giving the instruments their appointed times to shine as well with various breaks and instrumentals in between verses. The track itself is something one might not heard on mainstream radio, but more on a commercial or background music for a show or even in a cafe. However, this doesn't in any way take away from it's value. Moretti's vocals also take recognition, as they are the dreary related as noted from her last single, Alibi. In an attempt to solely separate herself from other artists, her voice takes precedence with it's notably unique sound to it, something not heard from the singer before in other songs. "This is one of those songs that I was hesitant about releasing but once I heard the final playback on it, I decided it would be terrible for my fans to not hear it. It's a love story, but that's all I'll say about it. It's completely left up to the listener's interpretation. For me, it means a lot and it's a great tale but for others, it could just be another song about love and apply it how they see fit, so I won't really say the official meaning of the song. It was a hitch to release this and while I'm on tour, I just had a lot of ideas and one of them was to have this really.....solemn production. It's where you can hear the anguish and almost shock of the love that's being displayed. There's very few elements but the biggest is the mystery surrounding the track."
