New York? How are you coping? I know you're not a fan of the place haha. Speaking of, I might be switching the big city for a country life again. London is great for work but this area is real impersonal for kids. Shay's getting older, we have Koa now. Thinking of getting them in touch with their Irish roots and heading back to the homeland. Yeah, Ada is a saint for all you have put her through lately, Mr! haha. I wouldn't push your luck. Maybe leave the idea of a visit for a while yet. Oh and yes, you are correct. oh i am not living in new york city again! no sir! i'm in,well,will be in,is a place called walden.its far more rural. i just basically have to pay someone to rebuild this house. picture the duke in house form. no place for a baby or even a child of marlena's age. the tetanus risk alone isnt worth it. so its not too bad. i aint crowded in with people and there is a river. so i got that going. i am going to be honest, when i think ireland,all i think is a charming village...or craggy isle. so if you even need someone to hold up a sign that says "careful now." i am your man. i'd get those kids out of london too. london is new york city but with a bit more charm. maybe, this guy running the hotdog stand across from ada's place is a cool bastard.
i do feel for miss ada. sometimes i worry she thinks i may have planned all this for revenge for the whole split thing. haha. nah,just crap timing. i'll take your word for the bum stuff. i am not about to bring THAT up to ada. |

I can't imagine you actually living in a house. Look at you conforming to societal norms ;) hehe. You're not far off, I do want to go to a rural place like Craggy Island but Dallas is on the fence right now. He's a big city boy. I think the quiet would drive him crazy. London is great for work but it's not a place I see myself living in much longer. Want to get out before I'm 30. Have you been spending much time with Ada lately? I think it's important to do, even if you're not having the difficult conversations. She'll still want to feel needed and wanted. Having TWO surprise kids to "compete" with would surely knock her sideways. Dallas is snoring his head off right next to me as I type so I don't think there will be bum fun tonight. Shame. |

i know. i figure a mini van is next for me. that'll be the day,right? i may be in the market for an ugh,modern vehicle soon. cant cart around kids in something that is decades out of date. maybe one of of those full size mercedes. amg trim,of course. im not putting around. cities are terrible for one's constitution. out in the clean air of ireland,that beard of his may grow even more luscious. i know the city air makes me feel short and shriveled. show that pictures of cows in the fields. it'd take a hard bastard to say "fuck no,i wont want to see any cows." plus the kids could pet cows. cows for everyone. i've been stopping by at least every other day to see ada and marlena. i dont want to wear out my welcome but i also want them to know what they mean to me. but who knows if its coming across right.
if anything,this all makes me realize things could have been different with michael. like,there is no chance or want of a reconciliation with selene. but as two people with a common goal and things we like about each other? it seems like it will work. though,i dont know what i'd have done as a what? 19 year old father?

Since having Koa, I've been thinking my Mini isn't really suitable for a family. Not getting rid of her though. Could never part with Peggy. I could totally see you in a Toyota Sienna hehe. This might sound stupid considering the life I've lived but I feel like moving would be the first big thing I've ever done for myself. Couldn't help being born in Tipperary and getting into the group required me to move to the UK. Feel like upping and going to a new spot for me and my family is a real big accomplishment. Big life decision, you know? Maybe one day, when all of this blows over, you and your 45 kids could come over and we could all pet the cows. I don't think you should think too much about what could have been with Micah. Won't change anything. There's no knowing. You might have been a terrible dad or a brilliant one. You could have been great at 19 and a total arsehole at 23. We evolve all the time. All got different journeys and stories. Don't think too much on what could have been. Just think about now. Do whatever you can to make it work with Ada, Selene, Marlena, Dean and yeah, even Micah. That might equate to just being civil. As long as you do what feels right. Don't let all these current situations turn into future "what ifs?" |
