Until The End is the third single from British-American Progressive Metal band Aeons. The single marks the first release of the band with the Songs To Love And Die By label. It is availalbe in three formats: CD, Digital Download and Limited-Edition 7" Picture Vynil.
The song was written by Bill Owens and was recorded at the Rever Studios (London) in April 2014. It's produced by the band's leader, Bill Owens and features Penetralia's frontman Koda Espinosa as a guest vocalist.
Until The End is a mixing of doom metal low and dirty guitar riffs with extreme metal blast-beats and metalcore vocals. It is very influenced by a doom metal sound with very low and deep riffs. This track has less orchestral elements and Bill Owens says it's a 'way more straightforward and darker tune than the others on the album, with a lot of doom metal and stoner rock influences in the dirty and heavy guitar riffs, it features some blast-beats and growl vocals'.
"Oh Yeah! We're really excited with our third single. I'm very happy to have Koda Espinosa as a lead vocalist on this song, he has a really incredible and personal voice so it's a great element for the song, I consider him a good friend and it was incredible to work with Penetralia, I wanted his great voice in a song for our album, I think it's a cool mixing. We have no pianos or orchestral samples on this song, more straightforward dirty-based-riffs heavy metal! And we're really happy to have this single released by Songs to Love and Die by, our first release with that great label! The lyrics are really positive and optimistic, I wanted to send a good message to our fans: you have to fight for what you want, never surrender, no step backwards! You've to fight if you want to achieve your objectives, your dreams. There's no victory without effort and sacrifice! We wanted to say thank you to all our fans world wide, our families, the great people at Songs to Love and Die by that trusted us and Koda Espinosa and the other guys from Penetralia, you rock buddies!"
