Early Beginning Years
UserPostedImage

Dan was born into a family of 5. Two parents(Mom and Dad), two brothers, and Sister. Dan is also the youngest out of all the siblings. Two years after he was born, his dad was killed in a tragic car crash, and left his mother to raise four kids. Dan never go to know his older brother very well because by the time of Dan's birth his older brother was a Junior in high school. Dan found himself closet to his sister who was two years older then him. At the age of 5 Dan's mom bought him a guitar for Christmas and got him into lessons. When Dan began guitar lessons his teacher told his mom that he has a natural talent and a natural rhythm toward the instrument. While in school Dan was more of an outcast away from all the kids. He wasn't like other 5-10 year olds who sit around watching Power Rangers and playing with Gi-Joe's. Dan was more interested in how things were made and music theory. When Dan was 7 he talked his sister who was 9 to start a little band with one of his only friends James Urie and James' friend Stephen on drums. The lineup consisted of Dan on guitar, his sister Karla on bass, James on vocals, and Stephen on drums. When the band was first made they went under the name "Life Of The Lobster." At the time no one was incredibly good at what they played so the sound they produced sounded like a car crash on the freeway. When Dan was in 7th grade he decided to begin singing. People said that they liked his voice and that he should really consider become a main vocalist. Dan decided not to because James was the singer in their band.

High School Years

Dan began highschool younger then most. He was always the youngest in his grade and started high school at age 13. Just like in grade school Dan was the loner of the school and found him self eating lunch, and walking to class alone. In about the middle of his freshman year his sister Karla decided to give up the dream of a band and left "Life Of The Lobster." When she left Dan heard of this kid named Joe who plays bass and asked him to join. Joe decided to join and began jamming with the band. While at a band practice Joe told the other three that he thinks that the band should have a more mature name so that people will take them more serious. After talking it over the four all decided on the name of "The Walls" and that is how "The Walls" were born. During his sophomore year in highschool Dan was going home from a party when his car was hit on the drivers side by a person who blacked out at the wheel. Dan broke his arm, collar bone, dislocated his left shoulder, and received a bad concussion. Dan was kept in the hospital for 2 months and during the time he was in the hospital the band brought in a new guitarist to fill in for Dan. When Dan was finally released from the hospital the band decided to kick out Dan. He was devastated by the news of them kicking him out because he had known James for so long and didn't think he would do something like that to him. In his Junior year of high school Dan was asked to re-join "The Walls." When they asked him to re-join he jumped and yelled because he had missed the band. At the end of his Junior year "The Walls" were signed to Junction Records. After his junior year, Dan, along with the rest of the band to pursue the band. The Walls released two full length albums and then broke up due to fighting in between the band. After "The Walls" broke up Dan in listed himself up for online highschool courses so he could get his GED.

Touring/Current Life

When on the road Dan found himself very homesick and tired of being away from his mom and sister. It wasn't until the third tour that he played that he found himself ok to be away from home. Currently Dan resides in Palm Springs California where he lives by himself with his dog "Buster." He has currently finished up his first EP named "Surprisingly Human" which is set for release on February 22nd. The album consists of fast passed dance songs hit with the theatrical rock sound that people heard with Dan's most successful band "The Walls." In previous interviews Dan has said that he would be open to the idea of having "The Walls'' come back and release new material but said that he doesn't think James would be interested because he has started to become a big name in the solo industry. When asked if the reason for going solo is to beat James in business he said "No! I am still friends with James. The reason I went solo is because I haven't made it huge with any bands and im really hoping people are into was im playing. I actually would love to start working with James again but odds are it wont happen because he has become very busy with his own shit." Dan's first single "New Life" didnt chart in its first week and received the least votes out of all the songs. Does this mean people aren't interested in what Dan has to offer? Only time will tell to see what people think!

OOC: Sorry for the length! Hope you guys enjoyed reading it! Some feedback/charecter responses would be awesome! ;)

Jennifer: Hey we've dealt with the same kinda heartache, Umm, Both of my parents were murdered in 2009 and a year later my older brother Max (I think he signed the Walls to Junction Records) died in a car accident. I'm interested in what you have to offer, I guess some people don't have very open minds.

OOC: That was awesome, I'd rather read something long and interesting rather than quick and boring. Well done.

Glamazon: Sounds like you had a tragic early start to life... but that makes us all stronger of course, why else would I be plotting revenge against men and wielding axes? Haha. I'm loving what I've heard from you and I'll be picking the EP up! ;)

Ronny: Since you're still talking, I believe you haven't died from all the things that's been going on. That sounds like a good start to me. I doubt you'll fall anytime soon.
