How was your visit to the UK?
Matt: It was absolutely amazing. All the kids were insane. Every night we got something new out of the crowd, mosh pits, crows surfing, and even stage diving which was just amazing!
Nicole: The UK brought our shows to a whole new level. The US is going to have to work real hard to beat what they brought to the table

You made a new website today for your third album. Can you tell us what you are going to use that site for?
Nicole: Well tomorrow we are going to post all the potential songs that are going to be on the album which is about 45-50 and through time as we get closer and closer to the release of the album songs will start disappearing and the final 10-16 songs that we leave up will be the songs on the new album.
Matt: And through out the time until the albums release we are going to put up pre-order info, track listing, album cover, bonus tracks, CD promo stuff like posters, shirts, and stickers and some other fun stuff!

Nicole you recently went to the HOF with Johnny. How did that go? And is there something more?
Nicole: It was alot of fun! We both had a great time at the HOF awards and I'm sure we will hang out again. We have talked since the award show but I'm not sure if it will progress into anything more then a friendship. I personally wouldn't mind dating him. He's a really nice guy and insanely cute

This next album is going to be your last on Shooting Star Records. Are you planning on re-signing?
Matt: Right now its all up in the air. SSR has amazing artists on its label and we definitely proud to be apart of it but what we really want is for our label to help promote our shows, album, and interview stuff instead of leaving us to do it all. I think that there is about a 50% chance of us staying and a 50% chance of us leaving.

If you don't resign which label would you want to go to?
N: I want to go to either Junction Records, Studio 60, or Hot Eye Records just because of the way they treat their artists. They don't force the artist or band to have an album out by a certain time or really do anything by a certain time. But for mew other then SSR my number label I want to go to is Junction.

What can we expect on this new record?
N: Well its going to be different that's for sure. Its not going to be to much of a drastic change like Linkin Park or anything but we are incorporating some tech beats/dub step stuff into our songs which we didn't do on the last record but then we are also keeping the classic sound that people love from SS.
M: We are really stepping back into our roots on this next album. Its alot more Pop-Alt then anything and if anyone has heard our first EP(Lost in Your Arms EP) then you would know what I'm talking about

Are we going to hear any new songs on the upcoming US tour?
M: To be short and sweet about it.. Sorry but no. We are not going to be playing any new stuff.

For the last question can you explain how you feel about the success of your songs Vulture and Doesnt Mean Its Legal?
M: Its very very humbling. I honestly didn't think anyone listened to our music so to see Vulture hit its high at number 3 and DMIL hit the song charts at number 9 brought me to tears and made me cry like a little baby. I was just so happy and honored to be that high on the charts and know that people do listen to us and do like our music
N: Ya pretty much what Matt said. For me its good to see people get what I'm talking about in the songs because everything I write about is stuff that I cant talk to people about so its really nice to see people taking notice!

Malory: We are sorry you feel this way, here at Shooting Star Records. But I must say, you cannot blame your recent 'lack' totally on Shooting Star Records. Just as you said, there are other amazing artists that also need my time, as well. Your forgetting, I check on my artists personally. I don't have other people walking around checking on them and giving me the note. No, I walk in the studio and have sessions with my artists, so when you say I leave everything on my artists your just wrong, you are an accomplished band, its not like you have just started but you know how to make decisions in your career that may not need my supervision or support but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be behind it and push you to do it. That represents freedom in the label, and I think you got it all mixed up and used that freedom the wrong way. I'm not going to be the scapegoat here and take the blame for your actions as a band and I'm sorry you guys feel that way. But SSR have been doing our best as a label and what more can you ask for, we cant teach you how to walk and devote all our time to one band. Shame on you

Brittany: I'm not the one to butt in, but Malory hasn't been anything less then amazing supporting us artists on the label.

Jennifer Armstrong: Malory is a total pro. Sorry that I've been taking up some of her time recently in the studio but she's been nothing but incredible for me, I already feel comfortable as a professional musician and she's helped me develop a lot even in the short time since I've been signed. I owe her a lot.

Malory: I appreciate that Jennifer:) And that is what I've been trying to explain to Matt and Nicole here. They are accomplished, I don't have to walk them hand and hand, I'll try to check in on them and be there but I cant always be there for them, there not the only act on the label. You on the other hand you are a newer artist, I think its my job to sort of mentor you, and many of the new and up coming artists signed on the label.

Matt: Well first off all I said is that I would like a little more promotion for the artists on SSR. Im pretty sure that we had a meeting with you Malory a few months ago where you said that you would start promoting the artists more. I also said that I am proud to be apart of the label but I honestly feel like you've just put us out there to dry. I also didnt say that we are leaving forsure I said there was a 50/50 chance on either leaving or staying after we release the next album. To me it feels like you totally just mixed up my words. All I stated is that I would like a little more promotion out of the label. I do understand that we aren't the only band/artist on the label but because we are a in your words an "Acomplished band" you should then throw our name our there to help promote the label. Throw some of the younger bands/artists on one or two of our tours to help expand their fan base. SSR is a great label I just think that there are things that need to be changed and things that need to be incorperated more.

Nicole: I was asked which labels I would like to go to other then SSR. And Im going to be upfront about it right now Junction has some of the best artists and I would not mind going there after our next record. I also didnt direct anything toward SSR. In fact I only mentioned SSR once in my statement when I said "But for mew other then SSR my number oneI want to go to is Junction." I never directed anything toward the label. I wasnt even talking about the label all I said was I like the way the artists are treated on those labels. I think you took it in the wrong was Malory. No disrespect toward you because You did help us put out our last album but I really think you took this the wrong way.
