The lights are all turned down in Seattle's Moore Theatre. The crowd has just made their way inside. All seems to be silent. Backstage Vin Peters is found tuning his guitar, Matt Collins is found warming up his fingers, Billie Beckett is pacing back and forth, and Robert Edwards is tapping his drumsticks anxiously. The four have reason to be nervous. For Matt, Vin, and Billie, it is their first time playing a show since before they decided to try and go their seperate ways. Robert has never played a show with the four of them in his life. "Two minutes", says one of the stagehands.

In the theatre the crowd is growing anxious. It is made up with a mixture of long time fans, new fans who dicovered the band just intime to discover that they had split up, and several locals who were just there to get out of the house. All were awaiting the new Reported Failure, and all were dying to hear some music. Meanwhile, backstage, all the wheels were in motion. The four men were walking steadily toward the stage. All preshow rituals were now complete. Reported Failure had made it onto the stage...

The amps are swtched on, and a steady drum, beat begins. The crowd erupts into cheers, as they finally get to hear Reported Failure again. The drums are joined by guitar and bass, as Reported Failure begin 'Disarm' their first song. By the time the song was over it was clear that Reported Failure had come back stronger.

"How we doin, Seattle?", said Billie. Judging by the noise the crowd made, Seattle was doing very well. "Alright, if you dont mind were gonna play some more songs for you. You like punk rock? I hope so, because were gonna play you some more music". The band went on to play many more songs including 'Hope To get Out', 'Testimony', and 'Short'. After a quite amazing set Billie approached the mic again. "Were gonna play one more song for you. It's one of the first songs that as a band we ever wrote, and we've played it at every show sinc then,". As Reported Failure began playing 'I Know You' it dawned on them all that all though they had come so far from playing this same song wherever they could in suburban Sacramento, they were still the same people, and the same band.
