SONG DESCRIPTIONA slow guitar riff and quick drum beats begin the introduction to the song, the mix of pace between the two instruments set the scene for this song then the bass guitar follows adding an element of consistency before Kara begins singing with slightly gravely rock vocal, she sings with a slight humour in her voice that then turns into a slightly more appealing falsetto vocal during the chorus. The guitar and drums become heavier and more fast paced as the song progresses and the bass playing maintains its steady consistency throughout. Lead Guitarist Augustine Frances and Bass Guitarist Joel Samuel provide backing vocals of “Ooooh’s” and “Ahhhh’s” And in the final chorus of the song Kara draws the audience in as you can almost hear the exotic joy in her voice regarding the lyrics that she’s singing and as the song reaches the final verse the drums pound increasingly loudly and Kara’s vocals switch back to her gravely rock voice as she almost whispers the final words, “You’ve got the taste and you can’t resist/The lethal dose of my poisoned lips.”
