Title: “Boycott Love: Hostile Takeover”
Release Date: January 24, 2016
Recorded: October – December 2015 – Half-Moon Studios, Las Vegas, Nevada
Genres: Pop-Punk, Alternative Rock, Rap, Hip-Hop
Label: Studio60 Records
Producer(s): Riot! In The Boulevard, Avil Hartmann

“Boycott Love: Hostile Takeover” is the title of a remix album by the American pop-punk trio ‘Riot! In The Boulevard’. The album is a collaborative re-working of the bands 2015 album “Boycott Love” which features a number of the top rappers and hip-hop artists of the music industry. All fourteen official tracks from the original album have been re-worked and it marks the first major large scale collaborative effort from the band who have only ever collaborated with other artists on rare occasions. It marks the seventh overall album from the band who have released five studio albums along with one live album in their five-year career. The album was produced by Riot! in the Boulevard and Avil Hartmann, the same combination that produced the original album.
The release of the album comes after the band announced their return at the beginning of last year and with a studio album, string of singles and live tour announced, the band have fully embarked on their return and with the release of this album it sees the band who was always known for their high work ethic pick up where they left off. The first single from the album was “Revolt/Resist” which featured duo ‘Rum & Coke’, the track peaked at number #2 and the second single is expected to be released very soon.

Upon announcing the plans to release the remix album, the band released the following statement; “Riot! in the Boulevard are delighted to confirm the release of a remixed version of our latest album ‘Boycott Love’. The album will feature the following rap and hip-hop artists, Young Hood, Kara Romero, Chloe, Kidd Amaze, Rum & Coke, Drew Westbrook, Jaymay, Liyah, Lotus, Miami, Matt Young and Jay-C. It has been an idea that we’ve collectively had as a band upon our return and ever since we began discussing the plans for our fifth album ‘Boycott Love’. When we released our return single “This is a Hostile Takeover” we knew that the idea of a hostile takeover by the industry’s best urban artists of our album would be a great and highly interesting idea if we were able to pull it off.
Thankfully after months spent in the recording studio with all these incredible artists, we are able to confirm the release of the album and say that we believe that our hopes for the album have been exceeded and executed incredibly well. So we hope you all enjoy the record and who knows, maybe someday we will do this again.”

The album was written by Riot! in the Boulevard with the featured artists writing and adding their own lyrics into the songs that were already written. The album was produced by Riot! In The Boulevard and Avil Hartmann at Half-Moon Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada between October and December 2015 and is set to be released on January 23, 2016.

Title: “Boycott Love (feat. Young Hood + Kara Romero)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Young Hood, Kara Romero

Lyrics;

“We will chant these words of scripture
Until they echo through the hearts of the lost and the lonesome
This is not another teenage mantra
Broken souls killed the kids that once were wholesome
Instead we’ll be scrawling our mantra of love and heartbreak on walls
Until the message come across
We’re always too blind to see what we’ve gained
But always aware of what we’ve lost
So, boycott love
Boycott love

They say love will fly away
To make room for something new
They say love will fly away
But what if we don’t want it to?
What if we don’t want it to?

I'm never going to love, I shut my heart
She trying to make it big, she needs a start
But I don't save them, I’m just trying to lay
You expect too much from me, I'm not here to stay
See I don't want love I just want to have fun
I live fast enough that I get to die young
Cause no one likes the feeling of getting older
And when you’re alone your bedroom gets colder
I want to get it in
And she is waiting for when
I get the nerve to ask
But I'm thinking hall pass
I can't be tied down
I will just mess with your head
If you think you'll get that sickness
I’ll just take the Styrofoam cup instead
There so many out here
I'm just get my share
You only live once
And that shit isn't fair
But I got some that will make me feel better
She got on a Trench coat, and it sunny cali weather

Photographs and memories leave the biggest scars
Watching sunsets over the Vegas strip leaves the biggest hole inside my heart
And I promised not to love again
Won’t fall into that trap
As soon as the wings of my heart start fluttering
I’ll tear it all apart
Now I’m not looking back
No, not looking back

Come inside boy, I’ll show you what I’ve got
I don’t need a confession of love, just need you to hit that spot
I’m not looking for a major commitment
Just looking to take a chance
I don’t plan on falling hard in love
I just need you to take off those fucking pants
Let me get just what I need
Satisfy me, make me beg and plead
Wanna scream out your name in ecstasy
Just want you inside of me
Ain’t got time for love
Time for me to boycott that shit
Cause I been burnt too many times before
I’ve dealt with the tears
And fell to the floor
Can’t start getting too attached again
It’s all about wildfire pleasure
From this point in

They say love will fly away
To make room for something new
They say love will fly away
But what if we don’t want it to?
What if we don’t want it to?

So, boycott love
Lets minimize that self-destruct
Just boycott love
And tear the final chapter from the book
If we boycott love tonight
Then maybe we’ll learn something new
If we boycott love
Maybe just maybe, we’ll make it through

So we will do the preaching tonight
If my congregation wants to gather round the stage
Hold your hands up to the sky
These are the chants that you need to say
So, boycott love, just boycott love
Woah-oh-woah
Boycott love”

Title: “Las Vegas, NV (feat. Chloe)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Chloe

Lyrics;

“Bright lights and city nights, shining down over the Vegas skyline
The noise echoes through the neighbourhood like the dreams as a child that were always mine
Those dreams were once enough to keep me alive
But tonight it seems like those big city dreams in my mind have all but died
And I’m left with scattered paper on my apartment floor
Memories of friends that are just no more
And I’m pondering
What I’m left fighting for
Lying alone on the cold hard floor

I have respect for those who give it back
Faith in something higher and greater than any of you haters out there
I feel love, I feel thank, I feel wrong, I feel great
I feel sad, I feel struggle, but what I don't feel is hate
Don't fuck with me if you know what's comin' for you
Don't fuck with somethin' you can't handle
Haters push me forward, haters push me down
Then I remember this rap and push right back to where I am now
"She can't rap. She can't sing"
Don't care what you say, I hold my ground, hold my place, don't come up if you can't face

We gon' take it to the moon, take it to the stars
How many people you know can make it this far?
I'm taking charge, all these haters in my heart
We gon' take it to the moon, take it to the stars
How many people you know can make it this far?
Too many scars, and it's not from my haters

We said one day we’d take over the world together
But instead we just crumbled apart
They say the dreams we make as children never truly last forever
Now I’m just questioning where to start
And I wanna be a hero
With all my friends standing by my side
I wanna be a hero to the masses
Not this haunted mess
Destined to hide

So here we are right now
All of our dreams are washed up in Las Vegas
We wanna make it somewhere, somehow
We don’t ever wanna fake this
Here we are right now
Dreams washed up in Las Vegas
No matter how much we tried to get out of here
This will be the first place we ever made it

Years ago, worlds away, something happened to this place
What I mean is where'd it go? That happy place, that happy glow?
Gone, out the window with my self-esteem and everything dear to me
My family, my friends, they're still here but they're not the same
The only thing remaining is my haters, they haven't changed
I'm still worthless, still crazy, still stupid, still just me
But I'm every bit as strong as I was and always will be

We gon' take it to the moon, take it to the stars
How many people you know can make it this far?
I'm taking charge, all these haters in my heart
We gon' take it to the moon, take it to the stars
How many people you know can make it this far?
Too many scars, and it's not from my haters

These days, this City doesn’t look the same to me
Just haunted visions of failed reality
Everybody I ever knew were just trying to make it out of here
But something pulled them back
Something called fear
But we’ll stay strong and we’ll stand our ground
We’re gonna find a way outta here
With a familiar sound

We said one day we’d take over the world together
But instead we just crumbled apart
They say the dreams we make as children never truly last forever
Now I’m just questioning where to start
And I wanna be a hero
With all my friends standing by my side
I wanna be a hero to the masses
Not this haunted mess
Destined to hide

So here we are right now
All of our dreams are washed up in Las Vegas
We wanna make it somewhere, somehow
We don’t ever wanna fake this
Here we are right now
Dreams washed up in Las Vegas
No matter how much we tried to get out of here
This will be the first place we ever made it”

Title: “Here’s to the Kids (feat. Kidd Amaze)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Kidd Amaze

Lyrics;

“Lights going down in this familiar old town
With the sound of the young desperately trying to get out
Everything changes in time they say
But we always promised we’d never end up that way
So we sing with all of our heart
And we’ll raise our hands and we’ll march in the dark
Maybe we’ll call it a revolution and you’ll call it youthful rebellion

Here’s to the kids standing on their own two feet
Standing our ground
We’ll march to our own beat
We are the renegades and wanderers
We’ll never fall apart
Blazing our own trail
We are the gypsy hearts

Yea, here's to the kids
here's to the kids
here's to the kids
here's to the kids
The leader of the new school

tell me who running this thing right now
cause all the adults seem to hold us down
talking about what can and can't do or be
I'm trying to live and I want to be free
Be myself have my feet in different shoes
trying to all of us together and infuse
don't be confused who else could be
that could talks the kids quite like me
we need a change I don't want to go back
I seen the light and hard going back in that shack
when dreams get whack and start fade
you been in the dark for to long
you don't know about shade
but what is done in the dark
will soon be push to light
but the path hard and you have fight
Keep going and push will all your might

Call it reckless abandon if you will
They all say we’ve got a little too much time to kill
But we’re searching for stories and memories to hold onto forever
Here’s to the kids
Marching along together
Here’s to the kids
Marching together

So lets take this time for being young
Spending endless nights under that setting sun
There’s time to worry when we’re old and we’re grey
Life is too precious to waste away
For we’re brought here to create memories
This is our destiny

We going to show them just what do
Time to show these guys something new
mind blowing something never seen
young and pure and doing this clean
this is for the young looking and learn
that you need to have more than just a fire that burns
you need more then a just a story
you need more than just old glory
people forget that this is full time
and my life is about writing lines
that I don't see people as much
I'm dedicated to this and such
I don't have a free time, I use to
I don't play as much as I want to do
but I'm doing this for love
nothing else
I want it hit above
and have it felt
so when the next one know
what is being dealt

Here’s to the kids standing on their own two feet
Standing our ground
We’ll march to our own beat
We are the renegades and wanderers
We’ll never fall apart
Blazing our own trail
We are the gypsy hearts

Call it reckless abandon if you will
They all say we’ve got a little too much time to kill
But we’re searching for stories and memories to hold onto forever
Here’s to the kids
Marching along together
Here’s to the kids
Marching together”

Title: “Revolt/Resist (feat. Rum + Coke)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Nina Tarantino, Airemese Smith

Lyrics;

Riot! In The Boulevard
Rum
Coke

Time flies, she screws everybody too
Poison like Bell Biv Devoe, it's always showtime, but back then it was all for 2
Blood pact, bond could never come loose like we were messing with voodoo
Friends On the Other Side, I could've sworn I had you
Now I'm tryna walk my own path, trying to figure out how to survive without getting hurt
If I can't make it out with you by my side, I can't be the one to kick up the dirt
What we had was left to kick the dirt, now I gotta leave you in the dust
Departing without words, could've sworn there was a little more to us
Is this really all there is to the endings?
Some people get to say goodbye, other's get destroyed by the feelings?
Some people move on, others are turned into pillars?
Rubbing salt in my wounds, hoping my goodbye wont turn into a filler

The years we spent together seem to be worth nothing now
A former friend has turned to enemy
And it seems I’m just left here wondering how
You said a lot has changed since then
And people grow apart
But I still think back to the promises made
For both of us to never part

Messes form inside open hearts
And things often end before they start
But they say the good things are what will remain
But I’m left feeling nothing but pain
And I hate to say goodbye
It’s just not for me
I hate to say goodbye
To someone that meant so much to me

But if you were to just
Tell me what it all meant, I'd get the jist
Here's to the kids who destroyed a darkness in it's darkest
It shouldn't be hard to revolt or, revolt or..
Grab my arm
And remind me of those times we were armed
To face way bigger than this
I just need you to revolt or, revolt or resist

When you walked away, you left these wounds open
And there’s an empty space in my heart where you used to be
All of my soul is telling me to carry on
But it feels like what we once had has now all but gone

Is this all there is?
Stuck waiting for you to hit the surface
I need for you to come to your senses
I need for you to revolt or, revolt or,
Look in my eyes
And tell me exactly why again
The empires we build can't always stand
I just need something, you need to revolt or, revolt or resist

It’s hard to walk away from someone
When you feel like there’s still something there
It’s hard to give up all you love
But you realize they just don’t seem to care
And they don’t talk to you any more
They don’t smile at you like they used to do
They don’t even remember your name
You only have yourself to blame

Is this all there is?
Is this all there is?
Is this all there is?
Revolt or, revolt or resist
Is this all there is?
Is this all there is?
Revolt or, revolt or resist
Is this all there is?
Is this all there is?
Revolt or, revolt or resist

Is this all there is?
Is this all there is?
Revolt or, revolt or resist

Title: “This Is A Hostile Takeover (feat. Drew Westbrook)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Drew Westbrook

LYRICS

“We aren’t the gutter punk kids of this corporate generation
We’re the poet laureates of the young-blood nation
We’ll give you the songs to sing to
Ones that you can believe in
We’ll give you the songs that you can sing to
To save this young-blood nation
Save this young-blood nation

This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
Did you really think we’d be gone for long?
Guess what ... the breaks over!

Put your weapons on the ground
Place your hands into the air
There’s no use in fighting for the lost and lonely
We’re sorry that we weren’t there
But we’re back now
We don’t need the throne
We know where we came from
It feels good to be back home

Look I was tryna be nice to yall, tried to make good music, give life to yall
Tried to keep my mouth shut so I didn't bite off the little bit of pride inside of yall
Tried to please the GP, drop a lil something for all of yall but that shit yall talk is distasteful, every single on of yall is ungrateful
Over here claiming you the king of the apes but the way you let these females run you is disgraceful
Too busy dickriding the next fool, I'm not surprised you got a mouth full
Ignorance attracts, all I can do is witness the gravity pull
Tell them lil bitches in your fanbase to stop @'ing me, yo why they mad at me?
Is it because they know based on the fact that I won, you probably wouldn't have lasted a round on Starfactory?
Spend just one round in the ring with me, watch how fast it becomes the lion's den
I may scrap half of my shit, but the rhymes I write stay penned in
Can I get to stoning these mothafuckas now?
All my ducks on death row, this fool is just getting out
I [i]am the concept of time, I can't with you just figuring this out!
Cause that's all this is, the notion to run an empire that'll never be yours
Even the kid yall let stand-in for me can't handle all of his chores
Looks like I'm the old dirty bastard and yall are the ones on all fours
Shit, I'm the one with the gun, yall are still talking, "Four score..."
Sonnet 87 bitch, this rap game is too good for you, I'm getting rid of you
Got ahead of myself trying to make amends with you
Why do I see a little boy inside of you every time you claim to be a grown ass man?
I bet you're cringing up now, bitches hate when the dealers raise their hands
Got my Quarter Notes together and the wait's over
Gave all you fool's a chance, now for my takeover

See, we crafted psalms in the pop-punk playbook
But we’re re-writing our own history now
We’re the epitome of never giving up against the odds
And I guess this is our sacred vow
We’re swinging for the fences
Aiming for those stars in the sky
Home-runs and touchdowns
Glory only ever comes to those who try

This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
Did you really think we’d be gone for long?
Guess what ... the breaks over!

We aren’t the gutter punk kids of this corporate generation
We’re the poet laureates of the young-blood nation
We’ll give you the songs to sing to
Ones that you can believe in
We’ll give you the songs that you can sing to
To save this young-blood nation
Save this young-blood nation

This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
This is not a call to arms, this is a hostile takeover
Did you really think we’d be gone for long?
Guess what ... the breaks over!”

Title: “First Class Saints (feat. Jaymay)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Jaymay

Lyrics;

“Maybe this was all just a game to you
But this is life and death and everything above to the fragile hearts that believe in true love
And you just build people up, only to knock them right back down
You’ll take a match and strike it fast
And watch everything you claim to love burn right to the ground
And you’ll be smiling through the flames
Watching memories turn to dust
And we’ll still be fighting through all this pain
In love and faith we trust
Love, faith and trust

We are the first class saints
Picking up the pieces
Mending broken hearts one by one
This is where we belong
We are the first class saints
Picking up the pieces
Mending broken hearts one by one
I guarantee you’ll miss this
When it’s all gone

We could have been the greatest
Could have been more than just fucking famous
Ready to prove everybody wrong when they said that we weren’t strong
We were something unique, proved that we belong
Said from the start that we wanted to make our hometown proud
Even though some said we couldn’t make it
We showed up and stuck around
You’d tell the younger me that was afraid and all alone
That things will work out someday, you’ll finally have people that treat you like their own
I know someday we’ll all find what we’re searching for
And when people talk shit, we’ll have the strength to rise above
Always tried our very best to stay humble
But you gotta be ruthless in this game, the industries a fucking jungle
And if you wanna eat tonight, then you gotta learn to fight
And scrap and battle and dig your nails deep
Don’t settle for the mountain you’re standing on top of
Because the fall is just as deep
See if you want what you have then you have to go for it
You’ll become the number one target, gotta dodge every fucking bullet
But in the end when you get what you want
You’ll know it was all worth it

See, don’t you remember how it felt
When you had the world at your fingers and the stars all in reach
Now you’re just left with nothing but those shallow and empty words that you preach
When you look out over Vegas, tell me what do you see
Just those neon lights reminding you of all that you could have been
Well maybe you’ve learnt not to throw stones
But it’s too late now you’re alone

We are the first class saints
We all are inside
We’ll keep fighting to the very end
In love, faith, trust and pride
Woah oh-oh-oh
In love, faith, trust and pride

So remember when you run away
Please take the knife from my back soft and slow
Because we’re all done carrying the weight of the love that we once used to know
The love that we once used to know
And perhaps we’ll go our separate ways, never to see each others face
But the day that we meet again
When our eyes reconnect with you
I know we’ll be able to hold our head up high
But is that something you think that you can really do

We are the first class saints
Picking up the pieces
Mending broken hearts one by one
This is where we belong
We are the first class saints
Picking up the pieces
Mending broken hearts one by one
I guarantee you’ll miss this
When it’s all gone”

Title: “When We Were Believers (feat. Young Hood)
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Young Hood

Lyrics;

“Well I'm guess that it's time, to leave the booth with my glass off
And show the S on my chest
Here to save the day and prove to you who is the best
I mean I came from something, I was a runaway star
But now looking back I took it so far
To fact that I should be a favourite, why I'm the one that getting hated
You going to recognize my talents, I will make sure you regret it
Bet on it, as I coming for everyone that you held Stonewall
With lyrical shots
I'm making sure that they all fall
Uh, I’m here to break the chains that you place
I’m here to remove your favourites from grace
I know they have a nice ride but now I'm calling shotgun
I heard from the coach, just fake it and then let me run
You just the distraction,
I'm the one who gets the action
Just go and feel like you doing something, while I'm the one with the satisfaction
I do all the heavy lifting, I'm the one who trying to break out
You put me in this cage
Now, you have to deal with all this rage

How can they claim, that we’re fighting a losing battle?
That we’re swimming against the tides
And instead of swinging for the fences, we’re just clinging on for our dear lives
And when the friction starts to show, they think they can explain it
And when the blood begins to draw
All they can do is blame it
And we’re going down, down, down
Just as quickly as we rose
Soon they’ll burn us to the ground, ground, ground
Now that they’ve uncovered each of our flaws

One of these days
I'm going to prove you wrong
I'm going to make you see
What I knew all along
When I achieved
What we once believed

It seems like we can have our name scratched from the history books
With just a couple of choice words and some sharp looks
Well the kids have gotten older
And they don’t wanna play
I guess they’ve grown up somewhere along the way
They no longer cling to every word we say
And we have nothing left to give
We have nothing left to prove
It’s a battle that we only have to lose

But I been asleep for too long and it's clear everyone is getting z's
But the messed up thing about it is that y’all are going to see
I'm a workhorse killing these 40s
With speed unmatched, just go and ask shorty
My story, is I put my mind to something, then I won't stop for nothing
And I'm going to keep going, until I'm the one fronting
I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to get into some gangsta shit
I'm friends that know who they driving with
I'm here for a good time, to possibly blow minds
And I got time to do it, bar for bar line for line
Repping Detroit that in my veins
And try to put all these rappers to shame
I know, I hear the talk of you non-believers
You think that I would be just some underground feature
Well let me remind you I had I pretty good teacher
And it's time for me to lace up the sneakers
And get it poppin

Oh, oh, oh (shout it loud)
Looks like we’re falling apart at the seams
Oh, oh, oh (sing it proud)
Guess we’re clinging on to our dreams
But I believe that all the hope we had can’t have just gone
We were believers together
It’s where we belong

One of these days
I'm going to prove you wrong
I'm going to make you see
What I knew all along
I'm going to do it
This my victory
When I achieved
What we once believed

Remember when we were believers
When we had the world waiting
Remember when we were the believers
The voices of a generation
And moments like that don’t just fade from view
This is our battle cry
And we’re calling out to every one of you

Nah I ain't finished, I'mma keep flowing even when the beat gone
They can flip the switch all they want, I'm still going to be on
No chance, they better get ready for the power
I'm have that motor, that will your fave sour
In this battle watch just who I devour, I'm like a Bee going inside a flower
And spread it to everyone that living with
You going to admit it, the kid is sick with it
And you going to be nauseated
while I'll go and saturate
All you hear is voice, with a smile
I'm going to make this worthwhile
Uh, cause too many people that are waiting
and I got too many thoughts to be contemplating
I'm serious, I leave you girl looking like delirious
All tight and red, with a little bit of gold, I'm coming with a royal flush
You may want to fold, I'm cold
Boy we had some brutal winters and I'm just coming to simmer
Waiting for that tipping point to boil over
I'm just waiting for someone to get it twisted
And you could be crossover
Got the handle like my uncle drew and I don't know what you think
that it wasn't coming to, I promise you

One of these days
I'm going to prove you wrong
I'm going to make you see
What I knew all along
I'm going to do it
This my victory
When I achieved
What we once believed”

Title: “We Aren’t Lost, Just Misguided Slightly (feat. Chloe)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Chloe

LYRICS

“Tired of living in a town
Where all the lights are bright and they shine for the pretty
But tonight we’re gonna head out to the city
Where they let love blossom and dreams shine through
Not just for the beautiful and rich
But for the alternatives, the screw-ups, people just like me and you
It’s our only hope

We aren’t lost
We’re just misguided slightly
Looking for the answers
Day and nightly
Fighting our way to the front of the crowd
Just get a glimpse of hero’s
That make us feel proud
And we wonder
We dream
That it’ll be us up there someday
And the kids will listen to every word I say

Looking in the mirror I see visions of my past
and I wonder if this thing will always seem to last
I have questions about my future, am I really moving forward
or am I just trying to find peace and closure for my former
I can't escape from what I use to me
dragging around these memories
how did this money, turn friends into enemies
They say that I cary a chip on my shoulder
so why does it feel like I dragging a boulder
I don't want to do this
just cause people say I wouldn't make it
I want to do this
So I can say that I can take it
The problem is there no road map
for where I going
I already past everything they were showing
broke the cap, so I'm out here on my own
the thing about pioneers is that there often alone
it's to find someone to tell you what is right and wrong
There going to be a lot of doubt you just need to stay strong
but what happens when that strength is fading
buzzers over head
slowly anticipating
Until they realize that you pull something deep within
You keep going seeing that the tunnel is going to end
Only to put you in a place where you have to start again
Questions pile on but you gotten better when your pen
to us musician, that just sharpen our swords
We find new ways to challenge people with words
with friends, but they not always willing to play
and negativity always seems to find a way
Misery loves company but fuck that bitch
I got a lot to do, and for I have to be rich
Cause no one takes you serious unless you have the backing
and you never going to find me out here slacking
Man I want it all, I want it all
eventually I will fall but still be able to ball
cause everything is positional I'm just setting up
everything I accomplish will never be enough
I am selfish because of what I had to sacrifice
So I'm only do this so I live twice
to hear my message,
and heed my call
whatever you want you in life give it your all
give all you have, and want all in return
you going to fail but those are just lessons to learn
with every turn, there my might be bridges burned
I live through it, and I know what you can earned
I take the burdens because I want to make it easier
For kids looking at me, I can say I was there teacher
So, even when that mirror get hard to look at
I know it would be better then me fold going back
looking back, the fewer footsteps that I see
the only thing is I wish someone could have done this for me
But I get it, someone has to knock the door down
just for us to finally get around
hip hop music was just a faze
that turn into a culture
we're known around world
but still have them vultures
I'm not going say that getting here make life easy
You know when you get here that their a responsibility
and money makes your problems seems to magnify
So I'm just here to testify,
that you should know what you are going this for
what comes with success is a lot more
but people don't see it cause of the life we life
they see the outcome not what he have to give

But the famous and wise
They say be careful what you wish for
Because you might work your whole life to get it
To realize that it’s a real war
And that growing up in the spotlight
Is not all that it seems though
It can cut you apart at your very seams
Take away
Your youthful dreams

We aren’t lost
We’re just misguided slightly
Looking for the answers
Day and nightly
Fighting our way to the front of the crowd
Just get a glimpse of our hero’s
That make us feel proud
And we wonder
We dream
That it’ll be us up there someday
And the kids will listen to every word I say

Yeah, but we aren’t lost
We’re just misguided slightly
Looking for the answers
Day and nightly”

Title: “Where Did All The Heroes Go (feat. Liyah)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Liyah

Lyrics;

“At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

Uh, at 20 years old, I'm a know it all
Invincible, I can't fall
Spent years walking before I crawled
And that ain't even the half
Heart made of steel, thoughts of a savage
Let's get to the good part and skip my rite of passage
Hey young one pause and accept the wisdom from your elders
We think we know everything, man you can't tell us
We think we know everything, until the system fails us
We think we know everything, and still can't manage
To dissect the situation, learn from past mistakes and get an intervention
Maybe if we listened, we could build heroes
Maybe if we listened, I could steer clear of all the crooks and criminals
But I'm just 20 years old and I think I know it all
Until one day I'm dead, after mama warned me about my next door neighbour
Who had it in for me, and she took advantage of my insecurities, gave her the keys
To unlock my fears and miseries
They'll never respect me until I'm dead and gone, at least that's what we carry on for
Everybody wanna be bad but only the good die young
I guess I should count my days until I'm on my last one
As I'm laying in the cold winter among the icy snow
With my last breath I mumble, "Where did all the heroes go?”

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?

At twenty-one years we think we know it
At thirty-one years we still don’t know
At twenty-seven years they’ll die a legend
Where did all the heroes go?”

Title: “Bury The Hatchet (feat. Lotus)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Lotus

LYRICS

“You’re a victim of your own success
Thought you were the one sitting behind the wheel
What once was a heart so pure and true
Has forgotten how to feel
And now where are you tonight?
Did everything work out according to plan?
I tried to fix the mess you caused
I offered you a helping hand
Yeah, I offered you a helping hand

They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better
They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better
They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better

I don't need you to wipe the tears from my eyes, I'm a big girl
Don't need to beg for your help, I'm on my own in this world
Not gonna lean on your shoulder when I know it'll go away
If it's gonna be anyone, I'll be the one to aim the gun at my face
There's enough scabs on my back from the stabs of the past
The blood's already draining fast, aint no time to look back
I've been up, I've been down, think I'm settling now
All this weight on my shoulders settles in by the pound
So used to dragging my feet but it's over now
Waiting to exhale, this is the countdown

They say we must bury the hatchet
Put an end to this pointless war
They say we must bury the hatchet
Get things back to how they were before
They say we must bury the hatchet
But I feel like I’ve done all that I possibly can
They say we must bury the hatchet
But it looks like jealousy has broken an honest man

So with all of that being said
I don’t think I should be carrying this weight
I’m just a girl with a heart full of dreams
That wanted to show the world that five misfits could someday be great
And I’ve tried and tried and tried and tried
To put the pieces back together
But we’ve had to mould a new shape
With the pieces that are left

Stop screaming it hurts you more than it hurts me, the fuck does that mean?
Isn't this what the world wanted to see, a weak me, something y'all can snap easily?
Or is it, you don't care at all, you just want to keep your lunch in your throat?
I should self destruct on my own time, after all, that was apart of the hoax
Never meant to set the shelter you offered on fire, but I don't mind dying in this blizzard
My only hope but I made you the victim, can't you just leave me to pick my own blisters?
You had a chance to give a shit, why wait until the last minute?
They say Alice fell down the hole, I'm just tryna jump in it
Never did like the plot but I just gotta see the ending
Bottom of the barrel, it was all finished from the get in

They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better
They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better
They say that everybody leaves
But sometimes it gets better

They say we must bury the hatchet
Put an end to this pointless war
They say we must bury the hatchet
Get things back to how they were before
They say we must bury the hatchet
But I feel like I’ve done all that I possibly can
They say we must bury the hatchet
But it looks like jealousy has broken an honest man”

Title: “Poster Kids of Pop-Punk (feat. Kara Romero)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Kara Romero

Lyrics;

“Somebody once told me
That I would amount to nothin’
Yeah, they always told me to give up while I’m still young
They say the kids don’t listen to music anymore
But my stubbornness sent me away
Told everybody I’m gonna make it on my own
Staring out at the empty skyline
In my apartment all alone
Dreaming of winning
I kept on singing

They say I need to write a song
That the kids could dance to
Doesn’t matter what it’s about
Cause they’ll never listen to the words
Just a melody and a beat for the kids on the street
A melody and beat
For the kids on the street

But I’m a kid myself
Just looking for something to believe in
Looking for a song with a meaning, a song that I can sing
And I believe that if we sing it loud
That we’ll feel like we’re part of a crowd
That’s all in this together
Street youth forever

Alright … poster kids
Stated that they’d do this all on their own
Started out in twenty eleven, now they’re watching from the fucking throne
Call em’ pop-punk kids, corporate dolls, misfits, freaks or renegades
They been creating a legacy and throwing lyrics out like motherfucking hand grenades
And to all the people that said they wouldn’t make it
That they’re just created by a label to make the frontwoman fucking famous
Ya’ll can check out a bands career, it’s right there for you to see
These fuckers have done it all, they ain’t even hit twenty-three
Accolades, fuck it all
Legitimacy equals standing tall
Dark times, they’ve had that too
Proof that wildest dreams … they do come true
How can three kids from Vegas
Dream up of being famous
And not end up fucked like the rest of us
All fucked from the bright lights and star dust
Dunno how it’s done
But some kids have found the key
Poster kids of pop-punk
That was always their fucking destiny

They call us the poster kids of pop-punk
The puppeteers of this scene
Teaching the heartbroken youth how to dream
And understand that we’re more than just the image they show
So let’s put our voices together
Sing in unison like a choir
Let’s ignite each other with love and desire

Just a melody and a beat for the kids on the street
A melody and beat
For the kids on the street
We’ll provide the melody and beat
For the kids on the street
A melody and beat
For the kids on the street

We can be so much more
Than the image that they always show
The majority stand with pride
While all the scene kids come together
They collide
And set the sky on fire
Vagabond hearts
Vow to stay young forever

They call us the poster kids of pop-punk
The puppeteers of this scene
Teaching the heartbroken youth how to dream
And understand that we’re more than just the image they show
So let’s put our voices together
Sing in unison like a choir
Let’s ignite each other with love and desire

Just a melody and a beat for the kids on the street
A melody and beat
For the kids on the street
We’ll provide the melody and beat
For the kids on the street
A melody and beat
For the kids on the street”

Title: “It’s True What They Said, Romance Is Dead (feat. Miami)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Miami

Lyrics

“They warned you that maybe there’s more than meets the eye
Don’t fall for the girl that writes of wounds and lies
Cause maybe you’ll find yourself tangled inside my web like all of the other victims along the way
And maybe you’ll hear my voice echo inside your head
With all of the sharp little words that I say
Just let them echo inside your head
Every word I’ve ever said

I should open my mind and let you read it
But I don't got time and you wouldn't believe it
So I sit, waitin, wishin on some kind of superstition
To bring you back, avoid all the cracks, black cats
I stay away from ladders and mirrors
So maybe one day I could have you nearer
But we all know it aint true
Everyone but me knows he aint you
I don't want to admit the truth
That you were probably the love of my youth
I choke up even as I spit this
Because in my mind our love was priceless
Now I walk around no where to go, just lifeless
Thinking to myself, asking from dusk to dawn
How could it die, how could it have gone wrong
Gave you everything boy did you forget it?
All those times you fell down and I lifted
And you did the same for me, this is insane to me
Tell my emotions to shut the fuck up or I'm gonna lose it
I swear to god if my mind don't stop I'm gonna bruise it

I’m going down in a spiral
And I wish that I could take you with me
But apparently absence makes the heart grow fonder
So stay away from me a little longer
I’m going down in a spiral
And I wish that I could take you with me
But apparently absence makes the heart grow fonder
So stay away from me a little longer

Maybe it’s true what they said
Romance is dead
Don’t bring me flowers
I’d rather have a gun to the head
Maybe it’s true what they said
Romance is dead
Don’t bring me flowers
I’d rather have a gun to the head

Perhaps it’s true
I don’t have a heart like the others
I’ve had my share of pain enough times to know when to find shelter from the rain
And now I’ve become cynical, hollow and filled with regret
I’m only reminded of love and faith from that cross hanging from my neck
And although my wrists may not be clean and my eyes may not be dry
The scars deep inside my heart are the ones that I’ll always hide
Because I know I have been burnt one time too many
I’ve had enough of holding onto a memory

I’m going down in a spiral
And I wish that I could take you with me
But apparently absence makes the heart grow fonder
So stay away from me a little longer
I’m going down in a spiral
And I wish that I could take you with me
But apparently absence makes the heart grow fonder
So stay away from me a little longer

Now these months have passed and still cant stop thinkin of you
They say time heals but it doesn't stop the wonder
The who, the why, where and the what
Its true I tried to get over him but
This isn't like anything I've ever felt
Don't tell me you been through this shit yourself
Nobody understands and nobody will
When someone so close they leave and your ill
The nights run dark and I'm alone again
Don't give a shit because I'm drunk off gin
With a shaky grip I put the bullet in
Take a sip and look at your picture one last time
Pull the hammer back, click clack, flat line!
What once was, is never more...
And with blood shed, this romance is dead

Maybe it’s true what they said
Romance is dead
Don’t bring me flowers
I’d rather have a gun to the head
Maybe it’s true what they said
Romance is dead
Don’t bring me flowers
I’d rather have a gun to the head”

Title: “Bury Me In Memory” (feat. Matt Young)
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Matt Young

Lyrics;

Gimme a second to take all of this in
Everything happened so fast, I dunno where to begin
Like a rolling thunder, we tumbled and crashed
A love like ours
Was never really meant to last

We will take our memories
We will bury these
Six feet deep
Underground
Listen to the heartbeat
Because it’s more than just a sound

Put your hands up, only if you feel too much
Just put your hands up, only if you feel too much
And throw it all away
Don’t let it come back to me
I’d rather not feel that love again
I’d rather you just bury me
Bury me in memory

Yo, We said put your hands up--
Do you feel it, do you feel it too much?
I can feel it I can feel it, yeah it's rough,
Hard times now, it's really starting to get tough,
Won't go back, take a step forward for the better,
My heart brakes easy, it hurts like the Scarlett Letter,
You and me could not ever be apart,
We were like steady beats and hearts

I know that we were one of the same
But they say opposites attract
So maybe that’s why this love burnt out
Maybe it’s why it didn’t last
And I’m left crying tears on a pillow
And you’re long gone
Somewhere I’ll never know
And I’m lost again
Without hope of a resurrection
I’m lost and alone
Without direction

We will take our memories
We will bury these
Six feet deep
Underground
Listen to the heartbeat
Because it’s more than just a sound

Put me six feet under, it might be easier then,
Away from all the hurt and pain, never to be seen again,
Everything I look at reminds me of you,
A time and a place, all permanently engrained -
Couldn't believe it wasn't true,
A constant reminder etched into my chest,
A broken heart and a thousand memories, that i don't ever think I'll forget,
Put them six feet under, it's either me or them,
I can't carry the weight upon my shoulders, it's gonna drag me to my death...

Put your hands up, only if you feel too much
Just put your hands up, only if you feel too much
And throw it all away
Don’t let it come back to me
I’d rather not feel that love again
I’d rather you just bury me
Bury me in memory”

Title: “With Clear Eyes and Full Hearts (feat. Jay-C)”
Genres: Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Rap
Label: Studio60 Records
Writer(s): Adam Benjamin, Amy Meyer, Jason Greenberg, Jay-C

Lyrics;

”Looking back through the struggle I done been through
I never had nobody hold me down like you do
Me with loose screws true figuring these blues clues
I Marinate my thoughts like brown stew before I hit the booth
I'm a wolf I hunt sheep under the full moon
Shred you piece by piece and feed you to the whole hood
Headed steeper into detail mounting thoughts profound
like the blood god shed from the thorn crown
Many times I failed many times I fell,
Wasted days in jail recollecting my thoughts behind the cell

There comes a time when the dark clouds need to pass
Tired of always seeing the pain
And realizing that the good times just don’t last
And we have to fight to regain a sense of who we are and where we are going
But in this life it seems there is no way of knowing
I’m just clinging on
And you’re just clinging on
For dear life

But I think we need a change to come
To learn that not everything is a pain that we just can’t numb
And we are stronger than we think
We’re warriors and we’re on the brink
And this is our time now
Let us make a change somehow

So here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts

It’s time to start feeling better
The past is the past and it’s out of control
Put on a smile and put on a show
Wipe those tears from your eyes now
And let your heart get wild now

You kept me on my toes and believed I'd reach success
To my surprise I survived tough times In this rotten mess
I know god don’t like ugly but take a good view at world
If there was unity my community wouldn't be weak
Picture the power we can contribute similar to kings, together
We can make it a better place for a child to grow feathers
Despite the unpredictable people change like the weather
But shit, even a blind person sees the light right before they die
You foes murder each other dog I murder mics
I promise momma I'm a strive big and stay high like mike

So here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts

So here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts

So here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts
Here we are now
With clear eyes and full hearts”

Matt Young: always a pleasure to be involved in something like this, and to have got the opportunity to work with Riot was amazing! Guys you smashed it!

OOC: well done to everyone, these raps are great, and you've done a great job of pulling it all off dude!
