"Hypnotised By You" is the second solo single by Chilean singer-songwriter Rico Love and serves as the second single to be lifted from his debut solo album "Chilean Heat" which as of yet has no official release date. The track follows up his debut solo single "Mr Loverman" which was released back in February. The track was written by the Chilean himself under his full legal name Ricardo "Rico" Love and has a runtime of three minutes and forty-two seconds making it one of the longer tracks you'll find in today's industry. Production for the track was handled by two fellow Latinos, Rayito and Manuel Chalud who created this mid-tempo bop and really set out to showcase just how amazing of a vocalist the 33 year-old is. In terms of sound on the production it encompasses a R&B flow but also incorporates your standard pop flow along with a very traditional Latin vibe. When it comes to its lyrical content once again it has a slightly spicy context within it content but is definitely to a much more tasteful manner than his debut. "Hypnotised By You" also marks his first official release under the label Royale Vices & Virtues INC having signed with them after being scouted at the UMA's earlier this year.
Critical response to "Hypnotised By You" has been universally positive. With many of the critics claiming that this is one of the best songs of the year and also one of the best vocal deliveries we have seen this year so far by a male artist. Anya Mac of NME wrote in her review, "Holy crumbs I always said that Rico's voice was wasted during his time in 5th Avenue and I am glad I was proven right because dang can this lothario sing his ass off, it also nice to see him being a little more serious and meaningful within the lyrical content, overall this track is fire!" Adi Gooseman wrote in his review of which he gave the song a rating of 9/10. "This has a slower flow than his debut, however I think this should of been his debut because it ticks all the right boxes in my eyes, from his vocal delivery to the production all the way down to the nitty gritty of the lyrics its just a well rounded track that not only has a slightly haunting vibe but also showcases that Rico is not an artist that relies on auto-tune to produce a killer track." Hans Chelo wrote in his review of "Hypnotised By You". "Okay where did that voice come from, I mean sure he was the strongest vocalist from his boy band days but I don't think that I and many others realised that his voice was a good as this track showcases, I am also living for the production on this one love the urban undertones that this track has overall this is a great track and I hope that it proves to be a success for the Chilean." Jessica Mala of Idolitor wrote in her review. "Why was this not the lead single, I much prefer this to his debut not only is it far less crass and overly sexual but it really shows what an amazing vocalist Rico is, I am also a sucker for an R&B vibe and this track quenches that thirst." Niall Dorman wrote in his review of the track. "Firstly vocals on point who knew he had pipes like that, secondly I can appreciate the production and they way he almost hauntingly sings the verses but goes full on killer vocals on the chorus, if this track isn't a hit then the planet has gone mad because this track is honestly one of my favourites right now fantastic job by Rico on this one." Greg Kurstin wrote in his review. "This track just blew me away, I was expecting him to continue the tread of singing about his junk and how he can please the ladies and this track isn't like that it is much more tasteful and I can respect that of course their is a few naughty lyrics in their but its a welcome surprise that this song isn't full of explicates and profanity, plus his voice is bloody amazing."

This wasn't my planned second single but after hearing it the guys and girls at Royale Vices & Virtues INC insisted that this be the next single and who am I to argue with the powers that be. I wrote this a few years ago when I was obsessed with this one lady in my life, she just seemed to capture my attention even when she wasn't trying too, in recent times it's become relatable to me again for a few reasons but overall I feel like everyone at some point has been so...what's the word in English...enamoured, I think that is the right word by a lady or guy in their life, I'd like to thank the boys who helped bring this track to life honestly boys love you like brothers because we killed it on the production I couldn't of think of two better lads to create such a vibe for this track.
