As people continue arriving at the venue, Jadyn and Imani greet Keshia and Slim Money, Imani hugs her friend Keshia, “Girly, how you doing? It’s so nice to see you. And those abs, holy fuck!” she says with a chuckle before handing her friend a glass of champagne. While Jadyn shakes Slim Money’s hand, “You good?” he asks before handing him a cigar and a glass of whiskey.

Brayton Carter, Jamal Ghalen, Kara Romero and Sierra Roe are sat a booth near the bar, a couple of trays of shots at their table as Kara and Jamal appear to be getting into the party spirit early in the evening. Sierra nudges Brayton, “How long you got until Kara’s dancing on the table and Jamal’s offering joints to everybody in sight?” she says with a giggle.

Young Khalifa is chatting with a group of friends, he turns to label executive Vincent Cooper Jr. as he spots Claire Price make her way into the venue and asks, “Hey, what’s the rules on dating people from the same label? And what’s the punishment for breaking those rules?” he says with a chuckle. Vincent realises who Young Khalifa is referencing and shakes his head, “You can stay away from our superstar. She’s way outta your league and she don’t need you as a distraction, right now.” He says half-jokingly.

Kara spots Billy and gestures him and Riley over to their booth. Kara had been friends with Billy for some time while Brayton and Jamal hadn’t really had much interaction with him in person, they had exchanged positive words of respect for each other over the last few years. Sierra being a complete newcomer to the industry hadn’t expected to be in a position to be mingling with superstars just yet, but had been heavily praised by Billy for her debut single in recent months so was excited as to be expected, “Fuck, so I gotta try to play it cool, now? This shit is so much fucking easier online.” she says out loud before quickly throwing back a shot of Tequila.

Brayton shakes hands with Billy and Riley as they make their way over, he was a much more reserved character in comparison to his cousin and former bandmate Jadyn. Jamal greets them with a raise of the hand and a head nod and Sierra Roe smiles politely at the pair. Kara laughs a little at Billy's opening question, "And didn't even give us a feature on the album too?" she laughs, "Shit, I'm just here for the free drinks."

"Great, how are you guys?" Sierra asks as she pushes the tray of shots across to Billy and Riley.

Kara laughs aloud at Billy’s interesting take on the situation, “I knew there was something fucked up about that guy.” She says with a shake of her head before throwing back a shot of Tequila. She couldn’t help but laugh at the comment made towards Riley, gesturing that he’s welcome to sit with them. “We usually wouldn’t trust them, but since he’s here with you we’ll let it slide.” Jamal laughs a little before firing a shot at Kara who happens to be half-Spanish and half-black, “Light-skinned Latina, you skating on thin ice on this one.”

Sierra smiles back at Riley, she of course knew who he was but appreciated the formal introduction. “No problem, a couple of shots will definitely level-out that jetlag feeling.” She says with a smile before raising a glass to Riley and taking a shot, scrunching her face in the aftermath, “Fuck … I’m Sierra by the way. Don’t worry, I have no idea what I’m doing here either.” She says in reference to her still relatively unknown stature, at least in comparison to the titans she’s currently drinking with.

Sierra had no idea Billy would have even remembered her, she had just assumed his praise for her track was just a passing compliment, “Oh shit, thank you! It was definitely a pinch me moment when I saw your comment on the track. I hope there’s more to come. Kinda tempted to just fucking drop a track and dip.” She laughs a little, “Not sure I’ll ever be arrogant enough to host an album launch party.” She says with another nervous laugh, taking a shot at Jadyn’s ego in the process.
