BIOGRAPHY
Max Armstrong was born on July 23, 1987, in Hudson County, New Jersey to Susan and David Armstrong. His mother, was an English teacher and his father was a builder. He has 1 Brother Scott Armstrong 17, and 2 Sisters Jennifer Armstrong,19 and Katie Armstrong, 22.
When he was eight years old, Armstrong began taking an interest in rock music and regularly bought albums whenever he could afford them. At the age of 16 Armstrong began learning to play the electric guitar that his mom and dad had bought him.
Armstrong dropped out of high school at 16, He then moved to New York and moved into a small rundown building where many people of the same age was living because they couldn't afford an apartment. He got his first job at a local record store and started to earn enough money to get his own apartment.
In 2004 he formed an alternative rock band called The Junction with close friend Robin Krieger they initially struggled to get gigs and a record contract early on. They began playing small clubs in New York and soon gained a reputation within the New York music scene as one of the top new unsigned bands from the city, Max managed to finance a small record label from which they signed themselves to.
The Junction are now a well known band and tour regularly worldwide, as well as The Junction he has a side project band called 4th Street Band which has become as successful as The Junction but they're currently on a hiatus. He has been in a relationship with Juliette Moore since May 2009 and the couple plan to get married eventually.

"As a special gift to my fans I've decided to release a solo single later tonight, The songs were written in June 2009 and were recorded two months ago.
The single will feature two B-Sides which are unavailable anywhere else and if the single does well there could be more in the future. These songs are written and recorded by myself including guitar and piano.
The tracklisting is:
1 - Walking In The Park (With My Girl Around My Arm)
2 - We Could Start Something New
3 - An Unwritten Chapter (Demo)
I hope you enjoy this release and I'll post the chart positions when I get them".

"I've got some news but it's not happening until next year.
Anyway here it is.
There are gonna be massive changes to Junction Records sometime next year maybe a little bit earlier, I'll inform you guys about it when I get all of the information but here's some of the changes we've already spoken about.
1 - We're gonna be expanding the amount of acts we sign per year, (Which will give more people a chance to sign with us)
2 - Co-Founder Lucy Tyrell will be taking a back seat from the label to concentrate on other things which means I will need someone to come into the company and work alongside me in securing future acts.
3 - There will become more staff for Junction Records which will help greatly with the planned expansion
4 - There will also be new record Studio's built across America at the moment California and Seattle are planned.

Thats the main improvements we'll be making but there will be more in the future.

- Max

"One more thing which I forgot on the original post about the expansion of Junction Records. We are also planning on running a talent competition where unsigned acts will be competing for a contract with Junction Records, There will be 3 musician judges and various mentors each week. Again you'll get more information when things are prepared and properly thought through."

"As announced here yesterday Junction Records planned expansion will be going ahead ... A lot sooner than expected work has begun on a new 4th Street Studio building in Los Angeles. Max Armstrong is also preparing a Next Superstar Competition "If we have enough new acts interested in competing then it will go ahead."
If any new acts are interested in competing then you will have to get in touch with Junction Records (OOC: PM me).

I'm pleased to announce that Max Armstrong will be a judge for the 20th International Music Awards on 14th April 2010.
We got in touch with Max and this is what he had to say "It really is an honour to be asked to judge the IMA's, It's the first time I've been asked to judge any sort of Awards so it's a first but I think I can do a good job."

SONG LYRICS

Sam (I'm Dreaming Of You)

I wake up in the night
With fear in my brain
Sweat running down my face
Baby your to blame

The worst has already happened
I’ll never forget your laugh
Your gone baby forever
And you ain’t coming back

Every night I go to bed
I’m dreaming of you, your in my head
Your in my memory through and through
Sam I’m Dreaming
I’m Dreaming Of You

I was there all through your life
The deaths, the births and even the tears
You’d hold me close when you got scared
And tell me all of your childish fears

When the rain hit the window at night
You’d press your body close and tight
You’d whisper words I could barely hear
I’d give my life for one more day
All I’ve got is memory’s
Now that you’ve gone away

Baby don’t worry cos I’ll get through
Sam (I’m always dreaming of you)

Max: Thanks I can't wait for it, hopefully it will be well received. It's not a rock opera in the same sense of American Idiot or anything like that but there is a recurring theme throughout the album.
Thanks for the support its greatly appreciated.
