Long Nights has officially cancelled disc two of their demo tape double album so they can start working on another original album. Ryan and Warren explained their reasoning as to why they cancelled it.

Ryan: It would essentially sound the same as the first album, just crappier.
Warren: Plus, we're starting to feel like we're getting stuck in the past. We want to keep moving forward. We'll finish releasing this album, then we start on new material.

Long Nights has officially released The Demo Tapes in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia/New Zealand. Along with the songs on every single, the album also comes with a special Revelation (the band behind the single Forgive) reunion covering the song Girl's Not Grey by AFI.

Ryan: That was fun to do, because for the reunion, we all worked with Doll to make the song as good as possible and it turned out GREAT!

The Info for LN's new single from their third album, WHICH HAS YET TO BE NAMED, VOTE FOR ONE OF THE NAMES ABOVE, has been released

TITLE:
Brightest Before Dusk

TRACKS:
1. Brightest Before Dusk
2. Have You Forgotten?
3. Never Say Forever

SONG DESCRIPTION:
Brightest Before Dusk:7:32 of a heartbreaking story written by Warren. The song begins with a complicated piano intro by Ryan joined by a cello played by Chris, various percussion istruments such as chimes and bells played by Blake, and acoustic guitar played by Warren, who also covers lead vocals for the song. The song eventually settles into a ballad when Warren begins to sing.

Have You Forgotten?:Clocking in at 4:15, this song is a simple question. Directed at an ex, Ryan screams his best grunge scream and lets everything out to a grungy backing.

Never Say Forever: Begins soft and quiet for the intro and the first verse. When the chorus rolls around, the band goes into their classic alt.rock/post-grunge sound for a powerful song that is impossible not to like.

COVER ART:
TBA

OOC: Alright, I'll vote, how about 'Brightest Before Dusk'. Hope more people participate, I tried this a couple of times (the whole voting thing), most people don't even bother to take a couple seconds to pick their favorite, which I always hated. Good luck with getting more votes anyways!
