As well as singing she plays Piano and Guitar and writes all of her songs. She is currently looking for a producer to work alongside herself and Jake Wilson and plans for her debut album to be released on 18th September 2010, there is a certain amount of pressure on her with the recent success of two of her fellow label mates Brittany Knox and Sally Stevenson. She has however been off the radar more than her contemporaries due to touring but she is planning to do a couple of interviews in anticipation of her debut album.Songs ConfirmedMemories Of You

It has been confirmed today on Jenny Hudson’s official site that the producer for her upcoming debut album is going to be Mikki Moo of Firecracker 47 fame and she will be joined by Firecracker 47’s Manager/Producer Katie Kairiri as deputy during the production process. This is Mikki’s first venture into producing hence the support and help of Katie Kairiri and this is Jenny's first solo work, She joined 4th Street Band as a touring member earlier in the year and plans to work on her solo career during the next couple of years, She has also recently announced that she plans to drop out of the 4th Street Band's world tour if she is offered a supporting slot as a solo artist.This is what she had to say on her producer. Mikki : I'm so glad to be part of this, I'd like to thank her for the opportunity. Jenny is an exciting and talented artist, there are few like her out there. And - this is my first step into production, I'll be glad to have Dame Katie shadowing me! But then, I could barely smack a drum before I joined F47, and look at me now!
Roxy : In Mikki's case, that means she actually wants you to look at her. ;P
Mikki : Ah, go fix your eyeliner, you jealous raccoon.
Katie : Don't you love how Firecracker 47 'get on', eh? ;) Those two, they're just like ordinary girls, like sisters almost. James and I are the more grown-up, focused ones. And Joshy is .... there is no explanation, he's too unique. Anyways, I'll be on hand, Mikki. Who knows, maybe we'll have a new producer here! |
