The door opens and Glamazon becomes visible, she stands tall with thanks to her seductive black heels as she smiles, her oversized sunglasses covering her eyes. She invites me inside as she tells me to make myself at home, I take a seat as she offers me a cup of tea as I kindly accept, she goes off to make it and comes back with an artistic and old fashioned teacup as I thank her. "Let's begin, shall we?" she says to me, taking a seat on a blood-red coloured chair near me. "Is it true that you were once an artist called Poser?" I ask her, she laughs and nods her head. "It was a pretty long time ago, I was still finding my way in the industry and my label at the time forced me into that direction and style, I had this awful song called 'Strike the Pose' and I ended up charging up to my label, demanding my own views to be taken into account, they refused, the single got cancelled, I got dropped and here I am now..." she reveals. "Its been a journey" she confesses to me, taking a sip of her tea and taking a deep sigh before laying back in her chair.

I then ask her who she listens to on a regular basis, she grabs her iPod from the coffee table in front of her and opens her music section, holding it up for me to see. I take a glance as I see a large variety of artists of all different genres, artists range from Stephanie Fierce, Ryan Ross Hernandez and Stacey Walton all the way to Reckoner, Jakey Comatose and Mind and even songs from classic bands like Aerospliff and Thunderwolf are seen. "I don't believe in listening to one genre of music, music is the biggest shopping mall in the world, there's just so much to choose from, it's brilliant!" she tells me, laughing. We then have a talk about her childhood, she seems to talk in a lower toned voice when talking about this point in her life. "People wonder why I seem to kill loads of men in the Lethal Love web series and I guess it's like therapy for me, I sometimes think it's revenge" she reveals as I question her further. "My father was an alcoholic and did loads of drugs, he used to beat my mother around and I used to sit on the stairs crying as I heard her screams, I had no idea what to do, I was petrified of him, I felt so vulnerable and hopeless..." she pauses as she wipes a tear from her eye, I ask if she'd like a break and she thanks me as she leaves the room to freshen up.

"Are you feeling better now?" I ask her as she walks in, she smiles and nods as she takes a seat back down. "Now where were we?" she says as she prepares to continue what she previously talked about. "Anyway, he ended up getting arrested after all of that and me and my mother moved away from the UK and stayed in America for a while and now that's why I've got this kinda half and half accent going on! I haven't seen my father since and I guess my web series was a way for me to take my anger out without actually killing anyone for real!" she tells me. "Men shouldn't be scared to get with me, I don't hate men, I doubt I'd actually kill you, who knows..." she laughs as she shakes her head, she wouldn't really, I don't know if I believe her though and don't think I'll be trying to get with her anytime soon just to make sure that my life is in safe hands.

"What do you want out of your career?" I ask her, she smiles and tells me that it's an easy question. "Love, happiness and success" she replies, "what else is more important than that?" as I nod my head in agreement with her. "I don't need to chart in the top 40, I have and it's great, but I don't need to. Success is being satisfied with your own personal achievements, my album is already a success to me because me, my friends and my family all love it, that's something important to me, now all I need is for my fans to tell me over Twitter or something that it's a great album, then I'll be really, really happy" she tells me. "Because without the fans, you're nothing, that's why I like my shows to be so personal, I like to interact with them, they came to see me, and I'm there for them, we have that connection and bond and I think some artists forget about that bond that you should have between your fans" she says, shaking her head in disappointment, "some artists just care about the big, fancy stage shows, loads of effects and loads of things to distract them from yourself, but at the end of the day, why else are they there? Are they there to see some flashing lights? A firework? A few dancers dressed up in costume? They're there to see you, you're the main star of your own show and people are there to see you, so give them you and all of you!" she exclaims, appearing very passionate about the issue of fan interaction.

"You recently revealed you'd be releasing a free EP soon after your album release to make it up to your fans for the push back of your album release, what should we expect?" I ask, "I think it'll be a continuation of Demons, they won't be left over tracks, I'm working on them right now and recording them especially for this free EP that I'm giving out. There will be a few powerful, uptempo tracks and some more darker, slower ones" she reveals. I question her about her album push back as she makes a sad face before laughing, "I know, I know, but these things happen and let me tell you, I'm probably more upset about it than my fans, you don't know how long I've waited to get this album out there! But I'm going to trust my label, they give me so much freedom to do whatever the hell I want with my music and image, they helped to fund this whole project, my music videos, giving me the opportunity to appear on some upcoming TV and radio shows, so I won't be ungrateful, I respect the decision that they've made and I just have to live with it!" she explains.

I thank her for her time as Glamazon stands up to hug me, "I really appreciate you coming to do this, thanks so much, sweetheart!" she happily tells me as I leave her LA apartment. Glamazon genuinely appreciated the interview opportunity and seems like one of the brightest new stars in the music industry at the moment and I'm sure she has a very promising future ahead of her. Her debut album Demons is available worldwide on 20th September.

Stacey: That was a brilliant interview, it's always great to see what makes your favourite artists tick and this was a really great read. It makes me want to hang out with you even more. I also can't wait for your album as I'm sure your already aware.
