MattY: M-A-T's to the Y! Haha, that's me alright, hiya Fearne. How are you?
Fearne: I am absolutely wicked thank you MattY. And yourself?
MattY: Yeah, yeah, i am absolutley buzzing at the moment. Absolutley loving life at the moment!
Fearne: Fantastic! Who wouldn't be? I mean you have your latest single out and also your debut album!
MattY: Yeah, It is a wicked song, Shoot to Kill. One of my favourite tracks on the album!
Fearne: What was it like working with Eric Quillington? Because he's a bit of a legend in the music industry at the moment, haha
MattY: No Joke, he is absolutely amazing to work with. He wrote the guitar riff and also the piano solo at the begining. To be honest he did a lot of the raw music side of it. I just mixed it afterwards ahaha
Fearne: Wow, he such a nice guy as well isnt he?
MattY: Oh yeah, he is a fantastic guy. He is an inspirational guy, i have so much respect for him. Anyways, yeah, my album! It is out! Its called Fresh Face, and i love it! L-O-V-E! I had so many great people working with me on it.
Fearne: Yeah, 4 big name artists on your debut album! Well done! Glam, Brit, Michelle Green and Eric. Wow, Star studded or what?
MattY: Yeah, it is pretty beast. I do have to thank my agent as well - Henry Johnson - because without him, a lot of the stuff i have done wouldnt have been possible.
Fearne: Well, onto why you are actually here - the Live Lounge! MattY will be performing Shoot to Kill plus one exclusive cover song which is soon to be anounced.
MattY: Yeah, i'm gonna cover...

Fearne: That was great. I just want to know what inspired you to write that song.
MattY: Well, one of my best mates from when I was proper young - well he sort of betrayed my trust. And it was a bit of a revenge song, well, it was a way of channeling my anger without going and beating him sh... senseless...
Fearne: Ahh, i see. Well moving on... What are you going to be covering then?
MattY: Here it is: Me - MattY - covering Vülker & The Millions' Life Sucks (But I Suck Better). No joke, but I actually love this song. I hope i do it justice haha.
