NEWS
"My America Vol 1 and 2 are no longer part of my future plans as a solo artist. I've decided once my run of New York gigs are finished that I'm going to focus on 4th Street Band for the long term rather than a solo album. The 4th Street Band will be returning in August with a tour and new live album Vol 2. So my solo plans aren't going to happen for a long while, I'm really going to be working with 4th Street Band for the long term. I'm not ruling out My America Vol 1 & 2 but I'm likely to record them with 4th Street Band rather than as a solo album. Thanks for the love and support."

This is a new item on the website where Max Armstrong will reccomend songs for his fans to listen to, It's going to be a weekly item on this official website and hopefully he can turn you guys onto some songs you wouldn't ordinarily listen to.

GIVE THEM A LISTEN
Well this is the second week of this new item and it's been a busy week for me personally. anyway this weeks recommended song is 2+2=5 by Reckoner, It's a fantastic song by a really good band, I'm a big fan and this just enhances their qualities, I was trying to pick from about 4 new songs released this week but this one just edged it, So if your at itunes or a record store and you want to try something a little bit different then get this single, also their album is available which has this song on it so if you like the single maybe you'll like the album. I hope you guys like it.

Max Armstrong is to become a father for the first time in 2011. He was at the Dirty Bastard Hotel And Casino with his fianceé Juliette Moore and he was visably happy, he told the bartender he was to become a father and the couple were clearly happy. |

Max Armstrong recorded about 70 solo tracks throughout 2008 and for the first time ever you can hear them exclusively on his official website, Each month there will be a new E.P put up on the website for your listening pleasure, free of charge, if the interest is high enough then these E.P's could be put together on a massive 6 Disc EP collection album.The first E.P is called The Hotel Chelsea Sessions, it's a sombre E.P which focuses more on the emotion of the music rather than the anthemic rock songs which are more familiar to fans of Max. Hey everyone, Max here.
I'm back at home but I've got another week of bed rest which is a fucking killer.
I thought I'd let everyone know that I won't be returning for the 4th Street Band tour and in 2011 I'm gonna be spending time doing the family thing. This doesn't mean I'm not gonna be working, from now to about September 2011 I'll be writing new material for my 1st proper solo album, This is gonna be my shot at the title and I'm gonna be taking my time to fine tune the songs to make the best album I could ever possibly make, It's gonna be my Born To Run and hopefully working on it for a whole year will help make it the best album I ever release but we'll see.

Hey Everyone
The creativity has been immense, I've written two of the best songs I've ever written for this album, I couldn't be more excited about this and it's picking up faster than I ever expected, Still no 2010 release date for it though, but it could be out slightly earlier than expected because these songs have been coming out pretty much fully formed. I've never been this excited about making a record than I am now, I really do think this is shaping up to be the best album I've ever made, I can't wait to complete the rest of the albums lyrics and record it.
So excited guys, so excited about it.

Hey Guys
The doc's been to check up on how I'm doing and it turns out I've recovered quicker than expected, I'm able to start hitting the local gym to get my muscle strength back to what it was, I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of gym's, I've never been obsessed with muscle mass but it's part of my rehabilitation, so in order for me to continue to work on my album and maybe tour in the new year I need to get my fitness back up. Anyway that's all, Oh I've also finished the lyrics for the album and the next stage is to make a couple of modifications in the studio and it looks like I'll be in the studio in the next couple of weeks, maybe a 2010 release date for this record is possible, we'll have to wait to see, I can't wait.

My Time Now by Max Armstrong will be released in 2011 as planned, The only thing left to be finished was the production so there will be a search to find producers to help make this album everything Max wanted it to be.
There will also be so many more releases in 2011, including previously unheard songs, A couple of live concerts released on DVD. Max has also written a lot of things which will be published in the near future, We have plans to honour Max and hopefully people will support our friend. |
