I want to take a moment out of the show. Hope you guys don’t mind. *Takes a sip of the cold water, that was placed on the floor for him* But right now! RIGHT NOW! *Daniel’s tone of voice deepens and his volume grows louder* I feel disgusted. Appalled. BETRAYED!. There is a lot of people…… who are constantly on my back. STABBING ME! STABBING US! Stabbing us so deep. So deep we can’t look back.
I AM DISGUSTED by some of the musician in this industry. So FUCKING FAKE! It’s so sad how people change and trust is something I have trouble with. “Oh but stop playing the victim they say”.
Many people say we don’t have the right to complain. To rebel. TO BITCH! But we do. We FUCKING do. We have the FUCKING RIGHT TO SCREAM, because it hurts. *a tear comes out of Daniel’s eye as he directly stares into the crowd* Pain HURTS *Daniel clenches his fist*.
We have the right to be the way we are. We are sick right. Sickly amazing! FUCK EVERYONE who says otherwise. FUCK YOU!
*Every person in the room begins to chant Daniel’s name. Daniel stares into the crowd and waits for it to stop.*
And it’s sad, that it has to be this way. That some of us if not all have to be pushed to the side, SPAT ON, discriminated, looked as monstrous or abnormal. When deep down inside, we have are BEAUTIFUL! That’s right bitch, we’re beautiful! Say it. No shame in that. *Daniel sits down on the edge of the stage.* I feel the love in the room right now. I appreciate it. We need to stick together. *people begin to whistle and clap* Thank you love.
Take a look my hand, my thumb finger. Get a close up on that! I don’t know if you can see the cut. But this cut right here, reminds me everyday, that every deep cut is healed, but the scar doesn’t go away. I’m just tired of being hurt. I’m tired of feeling pain. Because I can only take so much.
Sometimes I try to be something I’m not. But I’m not going to change for no one. My music will not change for NO ONE. I am going to work hard and I PROMISE YOU. I’m going to keep making music one way or another. Because I love it and it’s my first love. Sadly, I'm a tragedy to the industry and to society.
Before I recorded the new record “Epic Fail”. I really didn’t have that many friends. After inviting some of my listeners to record with me, I finally made some new one. They change my whole view of life and so did you guys tonight. Let's keep this between us if we can.
IF WE ARE FREAKS. IF WE ARE MONSTROUS. IF WE ARE LOSERS. LET'S EMBRACE IT. WE ARE all AFTER ALL EPIC FAILS! Everyone.
