It was almost 9 am as the 16 year old musical dark horse Michelle Green stepped into an all red room where she was greeted by her interviewer for that night. Older man, around 30 something years old smiled at the blonde and her entourage before shaking her hand politely and continuing to shake her father's hand as well.

"Its an honor for you to be here on this lovely morning Michelle, thank you for showing up" the middle aged man went on to say

Michelle smiled nodding her head

"Thank you for having me, this is certainly a lovely morning" Michelle said grinning.

They continuing on to sit on couches opposite to a camera stand pointing at them. Michelle cleared her throat and the man looked at Michelle

"Ready?" The man said looking at Michelle, and grabbing a paper that was on the arm of the couch skimming it quickly

Michelle smiles once more "Sure am!" she said unhesitatingly.

"Are you sure? We got some big questions in here, heh" he said with a sick grin on his face, Michelle laughed nodding blatantly.

He smiled again, nodding.

"Very well" he said before signally his partner to set the camera's on record. Once that is done he smiles looking at the camera, as he's now sitting next to Michelle. The camera's are completely faced to him, not showing Michelle in sight as he clears his throat and the camera's start rolling

"William Oliver here with Interviews On.web and we have a very special guest today" -

The camera's pan slowly to the left revealing Michelle Green, waving at the camera.

"That's right it's fast to fame artists Michelle Green here with me" he looked over at Michelle "Thanks for being here today Michelle, its a pleasure to have you here"

Michelle smiles

"Its a pleasure to be here, thanks for having me"

William calmly sits back before asking the first question of that very day...

How are you feeling today Michelle? We often hear that your very busy, I am quite surprised to see you here today.
Hehe, no reason to really be surprised, I figured it was time for an interview and I didn't want it to be some huge set with audiences for once, so I settled for something sweeter and smaller and here is where I found myself. Michelle said with a smile on her face.

Hows life in general? Your only 16 an you've been halfway around the world, how does that make you feel?
I just have to take a breather and tell myself this isn't a dream. I always find myself in this state of mind where I cant believe all this is going on and I pretty much think I'm dreaming, but it's gotten better lately, I've grown used to the new life that I have taken on, I guess.

What part of your life has changed the most? What have you lost?

TIME! And the paparazzi and scary and crazy. Time really has changed drastically though, I virtually don't have much time for myself yanno? I mean, Its so hard to even try and make time since your all over the place, but since things have changed I've become quite the workaholic so its not really bothering me yet heavily.

But your 16!
I know, I know. Most girls should be out partying and getting in trouble with their friends. I can do that still, haha, just don't choose to, at least not yet. I rather be fully focused on my music and my career and have fun doing that now and all the miscellaneous fun come later. I love my career and I love my work, people are often surprised by how happy I am with everything so far going on.

Is there any down sides to being famous?
Of course, I just try not to think about it. Like I said I just focus on my work. Sure I miss being with my chicks back in London, but this is the lifestyle I chose and its all for a reason and I cant and pretty much don't regret it. Once you jump into this, there's no turning back so why be stuck on wanted to go back to the way things were, when they aren't anytime soon.

Very true, lets talk about your success now, you've only released two singles and you become one of the few stars to have their debut single and sophomore single debut in the Top 2 - your first single being Fifteen at #2 and Dark Days at #1. How does that make you feel?
Very grateful. It's what I wished for, I wanted a chance to expand my voice and music on a larger spectrum, just not my town, which was what i was doing years ago. Its not the fame that matters, don't get me wrong, I love the fame but its not what matters. What matters is, is that I can introduce a more folk/alternative type of music, which is totally underrated in the music business and make it mainstream and make people like it, make it likable to everyone listening to it. Pop fans, rock fans, anyone.

You've proved to make it quite mainstream with the current success you've achieved.
If you say so, that success can fall away at any moment so I'm going to work hard to stay in my place and maybe even larger, I'd like to say mission complete but there's so much more to accomplish in music for myself as an artist.

I've seen you and Stacey Walton being compared over and over again based on your young age and current success in the music b, do you feel that you are better than her?
Not at all! Stacey and I are not competitive with each other at all, shes actually a great friend of mine and she is so talented. I had the chance to work with her and she's really an inspiration, and fun person! Just because my single had debuted in the spot she debuted at a week prior and my song pushed hers down, people automatically assumed there was a rivalry and that is surely not the case. I like Stacey as a person and her music. There's no bad blood and definitely not a competitive spirit.

I'd think so too, but its good that you cleared the air. Now that you are 16, do you feel like you could dress more freely?
Heh, that's a good question. Every girl at the starting age of 12, lets get real here, loves to dress pretty and sometimes a little sexy. Being young in the music business and dressing that way isn't perceived well so yeah, I'm 16 now and I feel that I could be a little bit more free. I could pick out my own type of clothes and wear my short shorts but not all...over the top. I have my limits and my father definitely does as well. Michelle laughed.

Speaking of being perceived well, what does your dad think about Matty?
Huh, what about Matty?

Aren't you guys dating?
No, we aren't....

A little crush?
Michelle brushed a bit before laughing. He's cute, hehe.

So that's a yes?
Never said anything.

I take that as a yes - uh, moving on...you'll be releasing an E.P ; what made you want to release an E.P?
Dark Horse yes. I wanted to release an E.P because I really wanted to release some new material for all my fans and its way too soon to release a new album so I figured lets put together a great E.P for the fans to hold them off as I start recording my 2nd album....

Have you started to record your 2nd album?
No, I have not. Well I've started penciling some new ideas and some sounds and what not, I've opened doors to writers and producers but this is the pure, beginning stages and it takes quite a while to get an album finished but knowing me, I get my work done fast and non stopping pace.

When can we expect a new album?
Spring of 2011 most likely. Maybe earlier, maybe later. I'm still riding "The Voice Of Me" and the E.P material until it calls for a new album.

The Voice of Me gardened some great attention for the pureness of the album and the pure folk rock alternative sound. Did you think it would be successful?
Not at first, not at all. I took a chance. I was just saying hey, it doesn't matter at this point I'm working my but off cause I love it. I'm not working my butt off cause I want to be big and famous, I just want people to like my music, enjoy it and I'll be find. I was hoping it could be successful though, however. And it turned out to be a mass success.

Yes, on its way to being platinum in the U.K., and has gone gold in many European countries. When did you first realize it was going to be big?
When Fifteen was known as "the hit" and I had no more free time. I knew something was going on and was going to be big. Heh.

Tell me about the U.S. Fifteen did well in the states and the album did quite well in the U.S as well. It wasn't a huge mass success but it was good looking at the medium promotion you did for the album there. Is there a reason why you didnt treat the same promotion in the U.S as you did in Europe?
I'll say it flat out, my label didn't want to put so much money into the U.S because if your not too flashy and your not making "synth"etic sounding pop music you seem to fall below those who make that type of music. Don't get me wrong, I love pop music, I don't make it, but I enjoy it. But its a difference between bland pop music that has no depth to it and the beat carrying the lackluster voice on the song compared to pop music that has a distinctive sound, real lyrics and an inspirational voice carrying THE song. In the U.S my label and I were very happy with the album sales in the U.S because we had hoped, but we really didn't think it was going to really be that successful in the U.S but we were wrong, 200,000+ in the states, very well for me. "Fifteen" made people look out for me. The sales wouldn't exactly be that high, but after the Hall of Fame awards the sales increased 20% there.

How was the HOF awards, and performing with the Bards!?
It was amazing, their so great! I was so nervous but they told me to be calm and do my best and i did, and really after that performance people really started looking at me as legitimate artist since I'm looked down on since of my age..but its ok, I like to prove people wrong with my music.

True, now before you go, what will you be up to in the coming months?
Well, I'll be releasing my 3rd single off of The Voice of Me, releasing the E.P I pushed back the date on with a single being released, and finally, finally a tour for all the fans who are wondering when the heck I'll be touring. Seems like alot but I am so excited.

Well, cant wait, and good luck to you with your future projects Michelle, thanks for being here.
Thank you, William.

Michelle smiled at the camera as they stopped recording. Everyone went on to clap. William laughed looking at Michelle

"Good job Michelle, your so truthful and down to earth, special artist you are." Michelle smiled muttering "Thank You" before she took pictures, got up and proceeded out with her entourage. Her father stayed for a bit talking and shook hands with the interviewer.

Stacey: I had no idea you were being compared to me, I've honestly never heard that at all, I guess you could be compared to worse people. I think your aim when releasing material should be more to get a positive critical reaction than a commercial one, sure the commercial success brings in the cash but the critical success means your respected by your peers but I'd put that down to being young and maybe a little bit of naivety. Your very commercial though, it can be seen as a good thing or a bad thing depending on your aims. It was a nice interview, well done.

Michelle: As said in the interview, its not the fame that I care about. Fame is a great expense. I want to make good music that people of all ages enjoy. But having a commercial success ia a bonus I wouldn't mind, but by all means I don't need it.

Stacey: I get that, the point that I was trying to get accross was that your shouldn't get blinded by the commercial success and you should look at being respected by your peers, I'm not saying that your too focussed on one or the other.

OOC: So Malory is Michelle weird!

That guy needs to get a grip, 16 is nothing - artists are getting younger and younger. Well-handled.

OOC: Was it the fact that Malory Evans posted in character as michelle then deleted the post and made me look like a tit?

OOC: Most likely. Unless a mod deleted the deleted post. Which most likely didn't happen. But if it did, then it was just that; Malory deleting her post.
