The crowd was still hot as Ugenia just got off the stage. Brittany knew that it was now her time to hit the stage, her hair was curly, glistening and beautifully done as it sat nicely on her shoulders with a shirt and tight jeans. Knoxville stood backstage as she hears her name being called and her famous jitters began to pop up in her gut again. "This is my time again, every performance is apart of me, every performance gives me a chance to prove myself, show how much I love doing what I do... I got this" She says lowly to herself as her backstage members start pouring her with words that only make her that much nervous, she flips it off with a smile as the lights shut off on the main stage after her name is announced. You could hear the crowd, which was extremely hot and were cheering for Brittany Knox. Brittany's trademark intro music starts playing...

The eerie, chilling beat gets the crowd a bit quiet as on the titan tron shows pictures of Brittany. Brittany is backstage taking her deep breaths getting pumped up for this moment, she waited this long for the event...


As the intro music stopped playing Brittany's keyboardist and drummer start pumping up the beats for Brittany Knox' Top 10 hit, Truce, and the crowd starts cheering, and after about 30 seconds of the beginning music playing, Brittany slides out throughout the curtains. With a huge smile on her face. She goes to the front of the stage still smiling as she connects her mic to the mic stick. She began singing and the Brittany Knox fans in the crowd start singing with her, as shes singing, she keeps her eyes closed for the beginning of the song but when the chorus comes up she goes into a high note. She takes the mic off the base and starts walking around showing her fans some love, throwing her hands in the crowd as the fans on the side either pop their hands, their heads or just dancing. As the standout of the song, which is the long electric guitar solo from her guitar man. As he begins playing this hot chord, Brittany starts head rocking on his shoulder and smiling as the crowd listens in awe of the guitar chord.


When he stops Brittany looks at him with a smile and points to him with the smile, he then steps back and continues playing in unison with the drummer building up the ending of the song. Brittany does a long high note and drops to her knees with one arm in the air swinging it as the double chorus approaches. Brittany keeps a smile on her face while the double chorus approaches and she sings along perfectly with it. The ending chords began and Brittany rises to the middle again and puts the mic on the base. She sings lowly once more and ends the song. The crowd cheers loudly and Brittany bows with a smile on her face.


Brittany: I love you guys and thank you, you are absolutely the best.

BACKSTAGE

Brittany returns backstage as the crowd continues cheering. Her backstage crew members start hugging her and giving her high fives, Brittany was on cloud 9 at the point and she returns to her styling room backstage, she walks in and sees an unfamiliar face.Shes standing, looking at Brit with a smile on her face, she had to be around Brittany's age with black-brownish hair.

Brittany: Um... do I know you?

The girl just smiles looking at Brittany 

Girl: Yeah, you should? Remember me? The sister who could never live up to your accomplishments? Live up to your ability, live up to your talent?

Brittany looks at her shocked

Brittany:......

Girl: Well I'm your fucking adopted sister KELLY, from when we were 12, and dad separated us when dad and mother broke up....wow, all these glitz and glamor sure fucked up your memory, your mom and you REALLY hated me and dad I see you all over t.v, all the family talks about is you. Well recently, I've been trying to make a name for myself. With the talent that no one recognized and noooow.... I'm  finally here to showcase it...

Brittany: Kel...

Kelly: I dont wanna f*cking hear it. I'm pissed. And one thing you better know is, I'm here now in this business, management, and a record contract. Fu*ck your pop, Fuck your poprock or whatever you wanna call it and f*ck YOU...your dead to me from this moment on and I'm here to rock out with my cock out in this music world. 

She looks around the room

Kelly: I could get used to all this pretty shit, too. Now.. let me leave you to whatever your doing. Congrats on tonight, by the way. I'll just be the new bitch in the town, who cares about awards...I've got alot to say in music...ooooh yea.

Brittany just stares, looking a bit scared...

Brittany: What ar....

Kelly smiles evilly 

Kelly: Bye......BITCH.

Walking past Brit, they stare each other down. Brittany's heart was racing, she may just have a new rival, and its her sister...and the scary part is, is that the industry may just love her.

Isaac Thompson looks out from the side.  This is the most nervous he has felt since his first live performance.  He had been getting much more confident but it seems to have all gone right now.
The presenter calls out the name of the band and he takes a deep breath.  Isaac picks up his guitar and the other boys walk past him and onto the stage.  Freddie stops next to him and pats him on the shoulder, making eye-contact with him, and then he nods and walks on.  Isaac takes another breath and then finally walks onto the stage.

The audience is incredible; filled with stars from all genres of music.  It takes Isaac’s breath away.  The importance of this performance seems to make his heart race, like a lions when it can see his prey.  Jack’s voice can be heard in the microphone but Isaac isn’t listening.  He takes another deep breath and then focuses on what is going on, just in time to hear the end of Jack’s little speech.

“… Subtle Distractions!”

Isaac starts playing the rhythm to the song; it is almost like second nature to him, he knows this song off by heart now.  He is playing solo and the attention is focused solely on him.  He starts to sweat, but he keeps his nerve and gets to the part where Jack and Freddie join in with there instruments.  He sighs a sigh of relief; the pressure is off now the others are playing too.

The song goes well and Isaac smiles as the song comes to an end.

“But I am still in love with you….”  Jack sings the last line with real emotion, he has really taken this song on and learned to portray feelings that aren’t necessarily his; Ollie wrote this song about his previous girlfriend.  “Thank you!” Jack says to the audience; “You guys are awesome!  We have two more songs now, we will play the new single but before then we have got a track from the album, it is called Mighty Ambitions and is also the B-side track to the new single.  So here goes.”

The symbols are hit repeatedly by Freddie, and Isaac is having trouble remembering when to come in.  This is the first time they have played this live, so it hasn’t been practiced very much.  His pulse quickens as he tries to remember when to come in.  Then Ollie strums his guitar.  This is the signal to go for him and Jack.  The drums quicken and the beat gets quicker.  Jack’s vocals power through just before Ollie’s guitar riff starts.  The audience react amazingly to the riff and Isaac smiles.  He loves the music for this song, it may be one he isn’t used to, but it is still one of his favourites.

“Mighty Ambitions!  Mighty Ambitions!” Jack sings this over Ollie’s intense guitar playing at the chorus.  The song finishes and Jack looks behind him to smile at the rest of them.  Isaac looks behind him at Freddie – he hasn’t even broken a sweat!  For saying the amount of movement required in drumming he is doing well not to be covered in it.

Ollie steps up to the microphone.  “This is our last song of the night, so thank you for being an awesome audience!  The track is called SECOND HAND ROCK SONGS!”

Jack’s voice echoes into the crowd as he starts singing.  There is no music behind his voice, just the raw sound that is Jack Straw.  Then Isaac kicks in with his rhythm guitar.  This is involved heavily in the build up of the track.  If Isaac screws up now the song is ruined – and he knows it.  Then the chorus kicks in with the drums and other two guitars.  Isaac sighs again, as the weight lifts off his shoulders.  The chorus finishes and it goes back to being just him and Jack’s voice.  Fortunately the drum beat is under his guitar this time, which does help to relieve the pressure a bit.  The chorus comes up again and the track continues through.

As the song finishes Ollie does a final strum of the guitar to go with a holding note from Jack.  Then Jack steps up to the mic; “Thank you so much!  You guys have been amazing and congratulations to all who have won awards and better luck next time to those who didn’t!  Thank you!”

The boys all walk off and Isaac’s knees go weak.  He gets off stage and collapses into the nearest chair.  “Thank God that is over!” He laughs with the others.

Jason gets prepared to stand up and accept his award before he hears who has won.

Jason: THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?!

Jason: I... I... it can't be. Wait, did you actually express care for someone else?

Now Jason just has his mouth dropped open. He is absolutely stunned. Aaron assists him and the rest of Mind on stage

Aaron: Bloody hell guys. Thank you so much.... shit me...
Jason: I cannot thank you enough, seriously, I don't believe this. If you had told me at the start of the show that I would win this, I would have laughed in your face, but... it's a dream come true.

In a moment of madness, Jason runs up to Neil Stinson and jumps on him.

Jason: I fucking love you man!
