SynopsisOf Heroes & Monsters & Men is a TV Drama series created by Jake Wilson which is set to premiere in December 2010. The show is set in the fictional town of Lake View, Massachusetts and follows the life of the two main characters Scott Greenberg and Mark Perry who couldn’t be more different from each other, a rivalry begins between the two as they both vie for the same girl. Throughout the show they find themselves pitted against each other in various different scenario’s. The beginning of the first season focuses on the rivalry between the two main characters but as the season progresses you get to see the supporting characters becoming involved heavily in the storyline. It’s mainly set around school life and you get to see how different the students life’s are from each other. CharactersScott GreenbergScott is a 16 year old at Ridgemont High. He lives in a small house with his mother and his 6 year old sister Jo. His father died 3 years ago and he has had to take on a more mature role within the household. He’s a popular student but strives to distance himself from the whole scene, often spending lunch breaks in the library away from the other people, he’s a loner at heart and is a genuine good guy, he doesn’t sees people beyond the popularity and cliques they’re involved in and sees them for the person they are not the person they’re viewed as.
He is generally loved by everyone at school, his openness and honesty being something they appreciate and as the show progresses he falls for a girl called Alexa Stevens.Mark PerryMark is a 16 year old at Ridgemont High. His life is the polar opposite to Scott, his parents are incredibly rich and throw money at whatever problems come their way. Mark is the typical popular guy, he’s the guy who throws the best party’s and is the guy who gets the girls despite treating them so bad, He plays on the sports teams which helps increase his popularity. His rivalry with Scott grows as it’s Mark who happens to be dating Alexa Stevens he treats her terribly but she stays with him because she has a forgiven nature.Alexa StevensShe is the 16 year old girlfriend of Mark Perry despite being an ass she continue’s to forgive him but as it becomes clear that Scott is everything she wants Mark to be she is faced with the dilemma, often moving back and forth and unable to settle on who she really wants to be with it leads to the rivalry between Scott and Mark. She is an unusual girl with an obsession for nostalgia and is often seen alone prefering to spend her time away from the in-crowd.MORE COMING SOON OOC: Yeah I'm aware of certain similarities. "We will be looking for music to play a major part in this so if you guys are willing to release some of your songs to be used on the show then please let me know. Also this is just a rough description because I've been inundated with messages from people asking what it's about so I had to quickly try and get a basic description but when I have more time on my hands you'll all have a much more detailed description."

Episode 1 - Pilot
Brief Synopsis
A chance encounter at a house party finds Scott in high spirits and he’s finally having fun for the first time since his father’s death 3 years ago, sadly it doesn’t last as Mark turns up and quickly ruins the evening for Scott making a joke about his fathers death which leads to a confrontation and Scott spending the rest of the evening on his own until Alexa shows up to apologize for Mark’s behavior leading to a passionate kiss which causes ripples in the following episodes as Scott and Alexa struggle to hide their feelings.
[opening voiceover]
Scott: “Three years on and the pain is still so real, to lose someone so close is to lose a part of who you are, in the past three years since my fathers death I’ve taken on his duty’s, spending the following months from that fateful day taking care of my mother and my 3 year old sister but things are starting to get better, my mum’s back on track and is smiling for the first time since and my sister is the reason why, she’s 6 years old now and she’s already better person than most.
Tonight is the first party I’ve actually gone to for 3 years and this is the point where everything will change from now on, I’m going to live up to the potential my father always saw in me, this is my life and it‘s in my hands.”
[closing voiceover]
Scott: “It’s incredible how things can turn so quickly, a moment can go from the greatest moment of your life to the worst in the blink of an eye and vice-versa, tonight I thought it was going to be hard maybe a struggle at times and I wasn’t wrong but I saw something come out of the darkness and turn the night into day, a frown into a smile and hope into reality. It was something else, someone else and I think that she just might be the difference.”
OOC: This is just a kind of preview of how it will be shown on here, I'll try to write a more detailed synopsis and add a couple of other things to the episodes but for now this is kind of what it will be like. Hope you aren't dissapointed. Sorry for the obvious OTH stealing but I can't help it lol. |
