Well Happy New Year to you all as promised this is the day of the album title reveal and here it is 'Destination Unknown'
I chose 'Destination Unknown' As the title as throughout the whole process I was going in different directions from starting out in Ang3licD3vil to ending up going solo, to being knocked back by labels to finally finding SSR and the whole album has bits of everything on it stripped back r'n'b to full on killer beats and even thrown a ballad in there as well.
The album release date is the 14th March 2011, it will be available on 2 editions the standard edition and deluxe edition, the album will be preceded by my 2nd single 'Redlight' on the 28th February 2011. The full tracklisting for both versions of the album is below Standard Edition (10 tracks)  1 - Pyramid
The debut single kicks off the album which reached #6 UK Charts and #1 Airplay Top 20, this song introduced us to the former Ang3licDevil in style with a good beat and catchy lyrics the song is about how someones love for you can be so strong and everlasting and make you feel so good about yourself.
2 - Redlight
The 2nd single and follow up to 'Pyramid' takes us in a totally different direction and shows a complete different side of Cherise. The lyrics are raunchy to the laid back sultry stripped back sound and beat. Catchy and infectious with the repeated lyrics 'with my redlight on' instantly gets you singing along.
3 - (You Cheated Me) For The Last Time Feat Millie Little
For The Last Time is a nice r'n'b mid-tempo ballad featuring up and coming Millie Little. The song is about how one guy had be living with two girls (Cherise and Milie) how they discovered his infidelity and taught him a lesson kicking him to the kerb showing us not to mess with either of these ladies. Each has a verse each before joining for one big stomping chorus with harmonies to die for.
4 - Justification
Justification is a follow on from For the last time with the girl asking why he did it to her and trying to find reasons and things she must of done wrong for it to happen in a way trying to justify the guy for what he done himself. It's a laid back r'n'b ballad compared to the previous mid-tempo its laid back and stripped showcasing the vocals of Cherise.
5 - Hungry and Horny
After the previous 2 tracks of mid-tempo and a stripped back ballad in comes Hungry and Horny a big beat song which will get you dancing in no time, the lyrics not quite as raunchy as 'Redlight' but in a similar tone, think madonna 'Erotica' 20 years on and modernised. 'Hungry and horny nothings gonna stop me i want feeding right now' kicks you off into a massive beat hungry chorus
6 - Intoxicated World
An emotional love song from the eyes of a woman alone and lonely and all she sees around her is couples in love kissing, hugging, holding hands and how she wants to be loved by someone. A mid beat tempo provides the backing to the smooth harmonies and crisp vocal powered with emotion.
7 - Love me, Bleed me, Leave me
A big ballad with very emotional tones in the voice about a girl who is in a relationship with a guy who is abusive towards her for no reason she's asking for his love and he gives it to her but the he gets violent as well and hurts her making her bleed before leaving her to fix herself up, stuck in an emotional cycle of being in love and wanting to help but taking a beaten and paying the price for her love.
8 - Impossible
Impossible is a piano filled track with a catchy chorus that kicks in before returning to piano for verses and combining both for a big middle 8. Impossible is a follow on from 'Love me leave me bleed me. The womans point of view saying how its 'Impossible' to stop loving him and 'Impossible' to leave him but she knows she has to before he kills her with beatings
9 - Loveable Rogue
'Is he right or is he wrong i dont know but he goes all night long' kick off the chorus to this nice upbeat song trying to decide if the guy is right or wrong for her love of life or just a fling unable to make mind up as he's a 'Loveable Rogue' can be good for you but also bad.
10 - Talkin' Bout My Girlfriends
A summer anthem big beat and catchy, this song is about how you stick with your girlfriends no bloke can mess with it and its a friendship that never ends through thick and thin. 'Always there for one another as tight as sister and a mother' a song that will be getting you in the clubs. Deluxe Edition (15 tracks plus videos)  11 - Prada Versace Gucci
the b-side to 'Pyramid' a nice upbeat song summery and all about a girls favourite thing shopping and what to buy.
12 - Us Against The World
A cover of Christina Milians little known song gets a rework sticking to the same flow and beat as the original with not much change.
13 - Bottled Up
'Bottled Up' is all about this girl who fancies a guy she can't have and has to fight her emotions and feelings towards him as he's dating her best friend. This song has a bit of a drum'n'bass backing to it and different to the usual style of Cherise.
14 - If You Wanna Get Up In My Face
A Girl power anthem dark and big backing this song is all about a girl who's been supress not allowed to express herself and finally snaps back the bloke and finally gives him it back 'If you wanna get up in my face' sees Cherise do a little rap through out the track rather than her traditional harmonies and silky power vocals.
15 - This Is The Time But Not The Place
Another change in direction a nice soul song full of emotion with a big band backing sees sultry silky vocals return. 'This is the time not the place' is all about finding love at the right time but the circumstances around it all make it the wrong place for it to happen and having to sacriface the love for those cirumstances. Cherise: With being so happy and overjoyed by hitting airplay #1 with 'Pyramid' not only this week did i reveal the full lyrics for my new single 'Redlight' but now here is also the full tracklisting for my debut solo album 'Destination Unknown' I'm really happy with the whole album I've done styles and genres I never thought I could touch but have now tried my hand at things out of my comfort zone. The album has so many things on it something for everyone and I hope you all really are looking forward to this as much as I am xx |

Cherise: Promo copies of the album are going to be sent out in next few weeks along with album samplers which will contain 6 teasers for the album these are - , Pyramid, Redlight, Loveable Rogue, Bottled Up, Justification and Love Me, Bleed Me , Leave Me, Also keep your eye on the album thread for sampler lyrics over the next few weeks in build up to the album release, Don't forget tour tickets are on sale now for 'Redlight Tour 2011'.
