Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Moderators, Registered Joined: 18/05/2009(UTC) Posts: 13,961 Thanks: 4590 times Was thanked: 9262 time(s) in 2906 post(s)		As the doors close and the lights dim in the Roxy Theatre a video screen suddenly lights up, located high above the stage a video of two teenagers walking through a darkened forest plays, the teenagers in the video are laughing and clearly having fun attempting to scare each other and as music begins to play quietly over the video the teenagers start to walk quicker and accompanying the music out walks Edward Barát as he begins to softly sing. You know the day destroys the night, Night divides the day Tried to run Tried to hide And suddenly the music stops and sparks fly from the video screen before Edward stops centre stage amongst the sparks from the video screen he gives a devilish smile and then he shouts. Break on through to the other side, Break on through to the other side, Break on through to the other side, yeah. We chased our pleasures here Dug our treasures there But can you still recall the time we cried? Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side He struts back and forth across the stage with all the swagger of the archetypal rock frontman, thrusting his body forward whenever the opportunity opens itself. As the song comes towards it’s end Edward steps to the edge of the stage and cue’s for the music to stop. He slowly puts the microphone back onto the mic stand and he slowly whispers. Made the scene Week to week Day to day Hour to hour The gate is straight Deep and wide Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side He then lifts the microphone stand aloft and waves his arm encouraging the audience to take over the ending of the song. He gestures for them to sing loud and they oblige. With a raucous repetition of the line Break on through to the other side.
