In 2021, Nicole released "Don't Leave" in collaboration with the streaming platform 'Spotify', which essentially changed the direction of Nicole's future sound. The Latin Pop immersed debut work was scrapped, after Jason Ingram reached out to Nicole. The critical acclaim and praise eventually lead to the release of the now called EP "Church Sessions". 'Church Sessions' is now available on all digital and streaming platforms, released in December 31st, 2022. Quote: "Church Sessions is an EP I've been working on all year. I have to thank my team at Five Pesky Kids, they have essentially allowed me to basically erase all my work and start brand new, even though my album was pretty much done. This was a direction I had to take, to not only honor my own past but also establish myself as an individual, to stand out amongst the crowd. I hope this EP heals the people that are listenting, the same way it has healed me creating it. Don't Leave Title: Don't Leave Artists: NICOLE Release Date: October 10th, 2021 Genre: Gospel, Christian Music, R&B/Soul Length: 4:08 "Don't Leave" is the first music release by NICOLE through an Spotify Exclusive deal pushed by long-time label 'Five Pesky Kids', the company behind "SYNCO", the girl group Nicole was part of until their halt in 2016. The deal with Spotify was announced prior to the release, though no further information was published until the actual release of the song in October 10th, 2021. The song "Don't Leave" was written and produced by Nicole and Jason Ingram, the former known for huge hits in the christian music scene. "Don't Leave" is decribed to be at times wild, loud and vibrant, but then it becomes soulful & rich - a song perfect to embody the singer that is Nicole. known to be a great vocalist behind the endless pop releases with SYNCO. Nicole herself said that; "It's the first song I ever get to release and I wanted to make a statement. Life isn't supposed to end in the darkness, you will receive new life in you. After every tough journey, there will be light to reward you. You will be heard. I wanted people to realize that I am no longer who I used to be and yet I still am who I am. I'm so proud of you! I've known you for around, what, ten years now??! I've always been aware of your talents, your heart and who you are. The public only ever got a small glimpse of the true Nicole amongst the glamour and chaos of SYNCO. When I found out you were going to share your gospel roots on your solo material, I was over the moon. Now the world really gets to hear you SING and this EP is a great introduction to the beautiful, talented soul you are. Growing up in a very religious household, there's something so familiar and comforting about these songs. It's not every day you hear mainstream artists sing so openly about their faith and I commend that. It's a brave move and an honest one too. Congratulations on the release and I can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for you, darling! OOC: Great to have another full project from you after all this time! Just like I had Dustyn say, I love that the new direction is something that's not really seen on the boards. Really makes Nicole stand out in her solo endeavour. Wonderful job, sweetie!!

It could have been so easy for you to get into a recording studio with a bunch of producers and songwriters and create tailor-made pop hits but the fact that you've decided to record and release something that you so clearly believe in, is a beautiful thing to see from a young artist. You need to keep hold of your ideals, because that's what will set you on your own unique path. This is beautiful and moving, but beyond that, this is just completely remarkable to hear in this day and age. Truly unexpected and wonderful release, my friend.
