Behind the Concept
'
Pussycat' is the second single from her highly anticipated third album that follows up after 2023 single, 'Jury' with hip hop heavyweight, Jadyn Ghalen. The song released Radio's point of view and expression during her infamous crime trial surrounding the kidnapping that was coheres by her two closest acquaintances that she worked closely with, Sir Zulla and Max Martin. The record began to shine the light on the tragic and traumatic events that changed the her life. Beginning to spread her wings to bigger and bolder sounds, 'Jury' had a taste of modern R&B with persistent and precise pop influence. The track showed the frustration, the anger and sadness during the record with Jadyn's raw and edge, impairing the two talents together to create fresh outlet to new beginnings after dealing with the backlist of the media, friends and family. The media continued to not shed or protect Radio's innocence but used her mental illness against her, causing those who has worked with Radio since the beginning of her career now not deciding to continue to work with her. A lot of the staff of Radio's including producers (
The Lost Ones) was investigated during the pre-hearings and testimonies, causing a drift between the once powerful team that was behind the scenes geniuses of producing Radio's second album 'Vineyard'. Radio expressed many times online that she felt 'alone' and 'powerless', 'betrayed' due to the fact that her closest friends and work partners all left her side when it got tough. Radio continued on trying to prove her innocence as she battled with depression with the effects of the downfall of her life and career.
Cat Influence James Ives, the mind behind the song of her 'call' for help (referred to in the media) '
Follow Me' has was the only producer on Radio's team to not leave during the aftermath. James continued to push Radio into recording more for the new album and writing. Radio came up with a concept using her love for cats, but using.a play of words to describe the essence of the 'cat.' Women Cats are resilient, powerful, independent and strong. The behavioral nature of the woman cat was what Radio has to become in order to break though the mental trauma. She channeled that independent using her vocals during the verse with airy tone but ending each phrase in an 'angel' like tone. James went into the studio to begin production once he heard the melody and lyrics Radio wrote. He wanted something very unexpected that her fans has never heard before. He instantly mixed and mastered the song differently from her previous work, with the different amount of arrangements casually making the lead vocals crashing into the baseline. ' Pussycat' is an self anthem to Radio with the gift of independence, being resilient during tiring times and being able to stand alone.
James Ives Said: Quote:" I think it's really brilliant to use this as an title because ya know you have Josie and the Pussycats from 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' and that's where primary her Radio was living during the early years of her career. So, to have that reference for this single because they were so fierce and confident.. and Radio has in-bodied that during these three years where she felt alone because she didn't have anyone. A lot of people walked out of her because of the pressures of her life and those around her getting too complicated.. and that's the harsh reality sometimes in this business. She is even more ready now because she realized she only has herself. at the end of the day. This is a fresh start for her..
Arrangements l ProductionThe start of the record begins with a dramatic intro that is used as the layering of the baseline at though the song. With heavy 80's inspired pop melody that as electric synths using it as undertone with the dramatic intro, automatically being in celebratory mood. The synths begin to increase it pattern as the song continues, Radio's background vocals fade in and out during the arrangements in her full voice, during the verses; she mixes her and chest voice to reach those 'angel' breathy tones effortlessly to belt out in full voice during the chorus. As the synths are building up across the main arrangement, Radio begins to slowly let out falsetto going into the bridge. The falsetto is few octaves higher than her previous vocal work with the help and guidance of her new vocal coach she has been studying with two years. James mixed the vocals to sound more '80s' filtered with the vocals raging against the instrumental. James included a bit modern pop influence as well for the record to deliver both past pop/alternative pop into the final mixing. After the bridge, Radio produced the dance break of the record with those falsetto notes being mixed into the break. She belts her adlibs during the reprise of the earlier arrangements. James included something different, at certain moments listeners can hear the background vocal arrangement from 'Follow Me' towards the middle of the break and beginning of the song. The ending of the song settles with the arrangements with just the solo synths being heard, ending the song with sounds of a cat parring.
RADIOMajor streaming platforms has removed 'VINE' from her stage name as 'RADIO VINE'. '
RADIO' will now be on all future releases.

Pussycat
[Verse 1]
You’re talking nonsense
You’re talking scat
On you like matte
Do you wanna discuss?
Maybe due for Chat?
Try to clean up your mess
Let’s talk about the days
You fought for my love
Combat
I know you’re coming back
But you love to see my emotions crack
[Pre Chorus]
(Oh!)
I’m coming for you
(Oh!)
It’s nothing you can do
(Oh!)
Go get them pussycat
Go get them pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
[Chorus]
Look at you go
Pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
(cap cap cap)
Are we on the right track?
It’s still some things that you lack
Love to bundle your emotions
Sorta like a pack..
Look at you go pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
Go get em’ pussycat
Go em’ girl
Go em’ girl
[Verse 2]
I’m naughty but I’m
Nice to you
I’m in heat so
I’ll put ice on you
You met your demise
What’s the price tag who?
You’re only being nice
Because I’m over you-
Now it’s time for me to
Transform into full form
I’ll never be as soft to you
Like tissues-
It’s no longer my issues.
To much pain I’ll have
To reissue.
[Pre Chorus]
(Oh!)
I’m coming for you
(Oh!)
It’s nothing you can do
(Oh!)
Go get them pussycat
Go get them pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
[Chorus]
Look at you go
Pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
(cap cap cap)
Are we on the right track?
It’s still some things that you lack
(Go get em' girl)
Love to bundle your emotions
Sorta like a pack..
Look at you go pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
Go get em’ pussycat
Go get em' girl.
[Bridge]
You saved me from the scars
On your face
I don’t know how long it take
For you-
To put me under
My intensions are mean
As thunder
It’s makes you wonder
How long until you
Put me under?
Pussycat
Jury that
Bullied at the time of max
Reburied at the wax
No need for attacks
Impacted eat me like a snack.
[Dance Break]
Go get em, girl.
Go get em, girl.
(Pussy..)
Go get em' girl
Go get em'girl.
Go get em' girl.
(Pussy)
(Pussy)
Go get em' girl..
[Climax Vocals + Mixing of Follow Me Background Vocals]
[Chorus, Outro]
Look at you go
Pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
Are we on the right track?
It’s still some things that you lack
(Go get em' girl)
Love to bundle your emotions
Sorta like a pack..
Look at you go pussycat
Put on your thinking cap
Go get em’ pussycat
Go get em' girl
Go get em' girl-
