Holy shit, this is fantastic news.... Blood of Wecz is an amazing band, and it was devestating to hear about Scott's death. I know the type of music Infinite plays is quite different from yours, but I'd still love be a part of your next tour!

And to our announcement!Hi BoW-ites, Ryan again here. As promised, it's time for our announcement tonight. Following the death of Scott back in May, it was appropriate that we took a lot of time out to think about stuff. We've done that now, and as stated earlier this evening, we are back with some form of a vengeance! The reason for my personal decision to come back will be made clear in a few days. I have been told not to say anything regarding the matter yet. So, when it came to a decision to come back again, the choice we had to make was obvious. Do we a) nominate one of us to take over lead vocals? or b) bring in someone else from the outside? In my mind...I didn't want one of us to make a half arsed attempt at vocals, just because we were too sentimental to bring a new guy in. At the same time though, we had to get someone we knew could carry on the integrity of the BoW legacy. So we brought a guy in who has been a good friend of ours for a lot of years. He is not well known at all, but has been blasting up the clubs and underground venues in Virginia since we first went to the USA on our first ever tour. The guy has been lead vocalist in 12 underground death metal and hardcore bands in his home state and we wanted to finally give him the break he deserves. This guy is one kick ass mofo, with a deep as shit growl to make your ass tremble! His name...is David Randall  BioName: David Randall

Mini tour announced
Good evening gang...this is the first blog post on this site by me, the new guy, David...I guess it's kinda weird for Wecz fans to take to a new guy, especially with the tragic way you guys lost a true legend. But, I make no apologies for being here and I hope you guys can accept me.
Anyway, to help with the transition, we are hitting a mini tour...it'll be called the FOUR CORNERS tour, as we hit all four corners of the globe. Dates are still TBA, but we will be hitting Santiago in CHILE, Philedelphia, USA, Tokyo, JAPAN and Brisbane, AUSTRALIA, before we finish it all of with a tiny tiny tiny gig in Edinburgh, SCOTLAND...the guys' hometown of course....
oh, and then there's the small matter of support...we have managed to bag two of our favourite bands as support acts for the tour...in MIND and INFINITE....this is going to be fucking HUGE!!

Anyone want Blood Of Wecz OOC: Anyone who has been on this forum for a while will know that I have been RP-ing this band for a number of years (nearly 6 now), and I am fed up with them. It has been a good laugh RP-ing a death metal band, but I can't be bothered RP-ing them any longer, I have the Chaos stuff and Katie Coyle now, and I want to start everything like new. So if anyone wants them, and you can feel free to take them any direction you want, then please PM me |
