AFTERSHOCK OFFICIALNEWS12/12/09We can exclusively reveal that Aftershock are set to return to the charts in 2010. The band who were last in the charts in 2008 and achieved a mass a top 40 hits including the #1 single Paris By Night and the popular collaborations with Girlspice Sexual Gold, are currently in the studo writing and recording new material for their 18th album. The album is currently scheduled for release late January with a lead single a week before. Becca HayworthQuote:We are currently deciding between three songs for the lead single. 27/06/10 It's Official Aftershock are back. After 2 years away from the scene they have emerged from the shadows of retirement for their 19th album. We are very proud and excited to announce that the band's 19th abum will be entitled Weather Underground The album will be preceed by a single which is still tbc. Aftershock's 19th album has entered the charts this week at a very respectable #7. Meanwhile the single Stockholm Syndrome has fallen to #36.
Naomi : After being away for such a long time, we are all delighted at the level of success the comeback has achieved so far.
It is thought that the band will be launching a monstor promo campaign ahead of their next single. The next single is currently being decided but it is rumoured it will either be Call The Doctor, Drowning In Air or Do You Think You Could Think. |

October 2ndNew Album Due SoonIt has been revealed that Aftershock will be releasing a brand new studio album very shortly. The album entitled Neon Masquerade will feature ten brand new recordings. The album will be preceeded by two singles. The first of which, Berlin, will be released within the next month. The full tracklisting for the album is as follows :- Quote:1. The First Is The Last

NEW SINGLE ANNOUNCEMENT - 11TH OCTOBERAfter Aftershock's last single Berlin peaked at a disappointing #26 in the UK charts, the band have decided to hastily release the second single from forthcoming album Neon Masqerade. The second single will be an electro ballad entitled King Without A Kingdom. Written by the band and produced by Moby, the single is about having everything but feeling empty and full of nothing. The single will be released tomorrow for download with physical formats being available shortly afterwards on 18th October. The tracklisting for King Without A Kingdom is as follows :-  1.
