Live Anthology Vol 2 is pretty much finished, Production finished yesterday and the album is pretty much ready for release sooner than we expected. I think it could be released towards the end of the month. The studio album isn't ready yet, we're still at the early stages, we know the songs which will be on the studio record but we haven't really begun working on that properly yet. Max is back in Jersey later tonight I believe so I think progress on the studio record will start to kick on and we'll have some news on that in maybe three weeks. Thanks for your patience and we hope you all enjoyed the single.

They're very excited about making their return at this festival and we hope to see some of our fans there.

Here goes. So The tour is almost here and we're currently in New York, rehearsals have finished and now it's time to begin this epic journey. First up is Madison Square Garden on the 7th August which is crazy scary, we're being supported by Thunder Road at selected venue's which is pretty cool. Then we head off to Inglewood and then San Jose. It's all pretty new to me so it's still very scary but it's a good kind of scary. On another note, we performed at the Animal Fest on Saturday and I'll be posting a few photo's from the event later this evening which I hope you all enjoy. Well that's pretty much it really, so thanks for reading and hopefully you can catch us on tour."

It was a beautiful summers evening in London. - Rehearsing for the big performance, I was even so nervous preparing for the performance.

We've recently begun our own tour which will end early 2011 and then we're gonna have a bit of a time out so if we did join you guys it would probably be at one of the final dates of your tour because I'm gonna focus on my family for a little while, but if we can arrange a date towards the end of your tour I'd love to. - Max

Max was taken to hospital yesterday evening after collapsing while on the tour bus, apparently it's a combination of exhaustion and muscle weakness. We've been having a great time on tour and it's been amazing but sadly Max won't be able to continue the tour as frontman of the band. We all spoke this afternoon about cancelling the tour but Max has a different suggestion. So we need your help, we are looking for a guest frontman/frontwoman to take over from Max during the tour, I know it's short notice but if there are any vocalists who know the 4th Street Band's back catalogue well enough please contact us via email or on our official website. Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Moderators, Registered Joined: 18/05/2009(UTC) Posts: 13,959 Thanks: 4590 times Was thanked: 9262 time(s) in 2906 post(s)		It has been confirmed this morning that the person taking over from Max Armstrong as lead singer of 4th Street Band will be Melissa Park from a fairly new band called GiftStar, she will however only be covering the four gigs from September 5 - October 7 2010, the band will be performing the expected 4th Street Band songs but will also perform a couple of Giftstar tracks which will be incorporated into the set. Therefore from October 10 onwards the frontman of the band will be a good friend of the band and the man discovered by Max himself, Mr Jack Frost, he will join up with the band on 8th October before heading over to Max's home state of New Jersey for the gigs at East Rutherford and during Jack's time as frontman the band will also play a couple of Jack's songs as well as the expected 4th Street Band songs, There will be a very special show on November 28th at New York City's Madison Square Garden, it is going to be epic so if you haven't bought tickets to it already get buying because you won't want to miss it.
