"The Golden Strikes"  . CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GOLDEN STRIKES! "Will this band continue to keep winning Star Of The Week now that Book of Love is dethroned?"" How does Book Of Love feel about this? Will they be eliminated?"[+4 in Talent][OOC: Congratulations "damientheomen3" you worked your group to Star Of The week this round. I was very proud of this RP. It made me laugh and you played the Alexis character the best out of the batch. It wasn't a simple interview, it was more. You played with the characters and it was very fun to read. Lea Martinez: Welcome back to the special All Around the World interview show! Today the contestants have to sit down with the intimidating judge Alexis Smith and do a full length interview. Next up is the New Jersey band, the Golden Strikes.
Alexis: Alright, I’m not going to sugarcoat anything, boys. My first question is: You two sucked in your auditions, and yet because of those softies Sean and John, you’re still here. What adjustments are you two going to make because of that?
Michael Bush: Well, we aren’t much for movement on the stage, so we’re going to have to put more effort into our performances and put out better performances.
Alexis: That’s crap! You two need to move o0n the stage if you’re going to wow anyone.
Ioury Podladtchikov: We don’t feel that way; we think that if you deliver an amazing arrangement of a song with terrific singing, the bone chilling effect that it has is much greater than silly movements on the stage.
Alexis: You two are totally ignorant! Don’t you listen?
Michael: Because we’re not girls, right?
Alexis: WHY I AUGHTTA- *takes a deep breath and calms down* Whatever. Anyway, next question. Who would you two most like to see win the competition aside from yourselves?
Michael: Probably Danny J. Law. He’s a really good guy and talented, but he struggled a little bit last week and almost got eliminated. If anyone deserves to win this competition, it’d definitely be Danny.
Ioury: I’d say Sara Daniels, because she’s sexy. *laughs*
Alexis: You’re nothing but a bonehead! Ugh, you two are gonna make me blow a gasket. Let’s just move on before I collapse. Which act do you feel is your main rival, and why?
Michael and Ioury in unison: Book of Love.
Michael: I don’t think that it’s the fact that they got the star of the week last week, but more that they’re standing in our way for the spot of best band in the competition. We aren’t 100% concerned with winning, but we definitely want to at least go down as the best band of the first season of All Around the World.
Ioury: Yeah, we really don’t see where their appeal is. We’re a much better act and I feel that they’re overrated. Mark my words, we’re going to beat them out this season.
Alexis: Well, if you two weren’t so headstrong and just adjusted your approach, you could beat Book of Love. I’m not here to argue though, so on to the next question. What was the reaction from your friends and family back in New Jersey when they found out that you made it through?
Michael: Well, they were definitely proud, but we also had to fend off the bunch of girls who wouldn’t give us the light of day before we tried out and all of a sudden want to go out with us. *laughs*
Ioury: I definitely don’t mind the girls. I’ve, umm, how can I put this lightly so I don’t get us disqualified? I’ve had “a lot of fun” with plenty of girls in the recent weeks. *smirks*
Alexis: My God, you really are a bad person, aren’t you? Whatever, let’s move on to the next question. What act do you like the least in the competition?
Michael: For me, it’s Sara Daniels. She just seems like a fame whore with some decent talent. She really isn’t a stellar singer, but her good looks will probably carry her to do decently well this season.
Ioury: Oh come on Mike, don’t hate on Sara. She’s a nice girl and a definite 10. *winks* Anyway, There is really only one act that I hate, and that’s Book of Love. As I said earlier, they’re overrated and we’re going to blow them right out of the water. As Gerard Butler said in Law Abiding Citizen, it’s going to be biblical.
Alexis: Alright, we need to wrap up this interview. As much as it pains me to ask this, my daughter loves you two and wants your autographs. Can you do that for me? Thanks. *hands Michael a picture of him and Ioury, and a pen*
Michael: Umm, sure. *signs the picture and hands it to Ioury*
Ioury: *signs the picture*
Michael and Ioury: *both walk out of the interview room*
Lea: Well, it looks like the two have finished their interview. How was it, boys?
Michael: I’m sorry, but we already had to deal with one over-the-top interview, and we don’t really want to do another.
Michael and Ioury: *both walk out to a taxi to go to the hotel*
Lea: Umm, alright. There you have it, the Golden Strikes. After the commercial break will be Sara Daniels!
