NME: Hey guys welcome to the broadcast today I am here with Lead Vocalist James Urie and Guitarist Dan Richards from new and upcoming band Less Than Infinity. How are you guys?
James: Well I'm good
Dan: I'm sick..
NME: Well I hope you feel better. So my first question is an obvious one and that is why did The Walls break up?
James: Ill answer that one. Well I was 16 when we had The Walls going and we all were all either 16 or 17 and we weren't really sure if we wanted to do the band thing for the rest of our lives so we all kinda called it off. Dan and I are now 17 and we are still really young but we have a better idea of what we want to do with our music and Stevie and Aj from our old band are still really close friends of ours but they didnt want to continue the music thing so we called up our two buddies Trevor and Brian and we asked if they wanted to start a new project. So when the four of us started jamming(We still didnt have a drummer). We asked around if anyone played drums and no one did so Brian asked Andrew who was in a metal core band if he would just want to come and jam with us. When we jammed he decided to leave the Metal core band and join us.
NME: You said your 17. Have you even graduated high school?
Dan: Ya we just graduated last year.
NME: What about any of the other members?
James: Uh Trevor hasn't yet. He is actually going to start the online schooling so that he can go on tour with us and stuff like that. Brian graduated a year before us and Andrew is 21.
NME: How old is Trevor?
Dan: He is only 16. He is a sophomore right now in high school.
NME: How did you find him?
James: He is best friends with my younger sister.
NME: So you and your older brother Matt are both in music. Is your younger sister talented in music?
James: She really is. She is an amazing singer/songwriter. She has an acoustic band thing that I have helped her record some tracks with
NME: Do you think we will ever see her in the industry?
James: I couldn't tell you. She says she wants to put all the record company's we have sent the demo too haven't got back to us with anything but if any record companies or bands are seeing this and are interested in hearing some good acoustic pop music I can send you one of the demos we recorded. I promise you that you will not be disappointed!
NME: So you guys have a new EP coming out. How is it different from past releases with The Walls?
Dan: We have a different sound then with The Walls. We are a little more Alternative now then pop so I mean I hope people will enjoy our sound.
NME:That's all I have so thanks guys
