"I've been asked a lot about Midwinter Mashfest," she says. "Unless there's a LOT of interest, the full three-day Mashfest will have to be cancelled due to lateness, but I've got something special for you. The first Ravens will be a crossover between Birdies and Mashfest - like a one-day festival, culminating in the ceremony and then the afterparty! And yes, it'll be on the third Sunday in December, the 19th, at Fromefield. So it'll be similar to the Birdies, but some bands will do full sets, as well as the 'mini-sets' between awards."
But why? "I just don't have it in me to cancel Mashfest completely, even for one semester. To the acts who have grown to love it, the fans who go to Fromefield twice a year whatever the weather, and most of all Moronic Changeling and myself, it'd be awful."

Jason: If there was another Mashfest, we'd be amongst the first to sign up, trust us on that. It's one of musics best events.

Stacey: I'd love to have some sort of part in this, I'll perform half a song even if it meant I got to perform at this festival, hopefully I'll be asked to do at least one song.
