Hey, guys!

Today's pretty damn special, in my books. I'm standing in Abbey Road, the most legendary recording studio of all time. Another fact just as amazing; I'll be recording here with Jason Smith. Him and I have been planning this for months, but to actually be here is just... amazing. We'll be here sporadically for the next month, trying to juggle our commitments to the Warped! Tour and recording Dividing Divinity. To say that December is going to be a hectic month is a bit of an understatement, but I'll love every minute of it. Before I go any further, I guess some background information is in order.

During the recordings of Infinite's Midnight Skies, Jason was our producer. So, naturally, most of the days ended with us stoned out of our minds. I'm rather talkative when I'm tripping, so Jason and I had a little chat about the nature of supergroups. It seems they're mostly style over substance, y'know? Most don't last for more than two hours. We, being the stubborn and arrogent assholes that we are, decided to fix that. Over the next two months, we quietly and secretly started writing songs for this new band, Project; Prometheus.

The reason for this secrecy was quite simple; there'd be a media shit-storm if conformation of this band's existance was released before we planned it. Everybody would be bitching about Infinite and Mind breaking up, which really isn't our plan at all. We still have our primary bands, but P;P is wayyy more than just a side-project. We're a fully-dedicated band, and this album will hopefully prove it.

Anyways, gonna get going; laying down the basic instrumental tracks for our lyrics today. Have no idea what it's going to sound like, but that's the best part. Jason will hopefully announce our debut single tomorrow or so; stay tuned!

The time has come.... who's ready for Project; Prometheus?!

EDIT: OOC: Shit, forgot to post with Unknown.. ah well.

So we all psyched about P;P?! If not, get psyched, because that's all you're going to be hearing soon. This record is not only groundbreaking, it'll smash the ground into tiny little pieces. It will not only rock your socks, it'll make them able to read on the Geiger counter. I've recorded in many beautiful places in my time, but Abbey Road is just amazing. Me and Eric have had so much fun thus far and I'm sure it can only get better.

I think we're going to record all of the easier, more straight forward tracks first, then we're gonna get to the epics. At this very moment, we're bringing in all the obcure instruments for us to play. If you think Mind is experimental, you haven't seen anything yet. At this very moment, I am watching all of the beautiful snow outside being gritted and melting before my very eyes, whilst getting prepared to make some scratch demos of the songs to go mess about with and produce until it sounds like it's come straight from God. Or the Devil, whichever you'd prefer.

Anyway, I better get back to, ahem, work. This is going to be the greatest project of my life.

- Jason Smith.

Hey all!

Still kind of amazing that I'm in the exact same studio that John Lennon was in. And Paul McCartney. And George Harrison. And Ringo Starr. And George Martin. My brain just exploded....

Anyways. It'll be difficult to type out this post without a brain, but it's not like anybody will really notice. Nickelback has 6 Million fans on Facebook, after all.

Yeah, I know; it's been a long-ass time since I posted on this website. I apologize for that, I've just been busy being Eric Quillington. That's basically just me rocking out at the Warped! Tour and working on two albums simultaneously. (Insomnia and Dividing Divinity, for those too lazy to keep track) So, it's been a fairly hectic month for me. Regardless, Jason and I are finally able to unveil our first single; 'Bloodshot Eyes are the Window to the Soul'. Yeah, it's a bit of a mouthful, but I seriously doubt the charts are reliant on the length of the single's name.

Tomorrow, Mr. Smith is going to be posting a full description of the song, as well as the Single Artwork. The story behind the song is rather interesting, though; Jason and I just kind of wrote it after a rather infamous stay at the Dirty Bastard Hotel and Casino. I'm sure my fans have heard all about it; I beat up some chick's date because he didn't like my music, smoked like a fucking chimney, and Jason puked on Greg Oldson's sister. Of course, the last one was kind of my fault, and Greg still won't talk to me... I think I'll use that sadface emoticon right about now.

T____T

So yeah, the song was just about our state of mind at the time. We felt like womanizing pricks, so that's what the song is about. It's also split into two parts as well; the first part is very traditional-sounding Rock 'n Roll (well, Heavy Metal), and the second part is very ambient-styled. The two parts are just meant to symbolize the dual state of mind in a sexaholic. Is sexaholic even a word? Hmm... apparently Abbey Road doesn't have any dictionaries...

But, I'm gonna go. Jason said that taking drugs are a wonderful way to get inspiration, and now I have a sudden urge to run around wearing nothing but a Batman mask.

Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

Hello. It's Jason here. With news. We're going to be releasing Bloodshot Eyes Are The Window To The Soul as a single as you probably know. And I'm just here to update you with all the latest news about it. It's good that I can have time to focus on this project now, since the dissolution of MY band. But I'm not going to be bitter about it, Faggot Gaylord Class-A Knob Jockey sorry, AARON doesn't deserve it. I'm having a pretty decent time here though with Eric, given the circumstances. It's going to be awesome once this album gets finished. Myself and Eric are both looking forward to it.

Personally, I feel this is one of the best songs on the album, both musically and lyrically. We both have worked on this in equal parts, and it's got this amazing groove thing going on. It rocks, in evaluation. If this isn't a smash hit, then you are all gay. The little spacey ambient bit towards the end as well... uh.... orgasmic. Anyway, here's the single art and track listing.

Bloodshot Eyes Are The Window To The Soul

1. Bloodshot Eyes Are The Window To The Soul [Smith/ Quillington]
2. Untitled Thoughts (Demo) [Quillington]
3. Two Trees (Demo) [Smith]

Enjoy that little teaser. The last two tracks may be completed in... *ahem*... a different project. Bye bye.
