GOOD MORNING AMERICA ElectroDeath was the guest artist on GMA last Friday, in the morning show the girls performed two songs, their first hit single "Famou$" and their brand new single "Like Paradise", check out the performances and the short interview which includes the announcement of the girls first world tour since in two years.
Juju Chang: Ladies and gentleman, we have a musical number today on the show...
Robin Roberts: These Brazilian girls already conquered the world, with over 16 million records sold, over 20 million singles sold, they released yesterday their third studio album entitled "Wrong!".
Juju Chang: We are talking about Magie Lena, Yulia Volkova and Lilly Stuart, the ElectroDeath!
After the announcement the camera filmed a dark stage with five male dancers, they were wearing black leather pants and white torn shirts, when the introduction of the song started, and three ladies walk from backstage, all of them were wearing cat suites, Magie a purple one, Lilly a red one and Yulia a Black one, the cat suites were exactly the same only with different colors. The performance followed good with the choreography already presented on the single's music video, the acrobatic parts in the video were not performed, but the break dance and the step movements were all performed correctly. Some lightning effects made the stage looks like it was a dance floor in a club, after all these years of career ElectroDeath continues clubby more than ever!The performance ended with a close up on Magie's face. And then the camera cut to Juju chang.
Juju Chang: Very good ladies and gentlemen, ElectroDeath! We’ll be right back!
After the break the girls join Juju Chang and Robin Roberts in a sofa to a short interview.
Robin Roberts: I wonder, how many days, did you guys spend to learn this choreography, which in my opinion is very difficult to execute.
Magie: definitely, this is the hardest choreography we ever made. We spent two weeks on rehearsals to learn all the steps, but we are still rehearsing, I mean...
Yulia: we spent two weeks rehearsing this song specially!
Juju Chang: As you guys already said, you all are rehearsing, for you brand new tour. Somebody told me that you'll have some news for us...
Magie: Yes, we are going to start our tour this April 16th on Europe, so we are rehearsing new choreographies, also some new remixes to this tour, which will be our biggest tour.
Yulia: we kind feel, that we have a doubt with our fans due to what happened with our last tour, so we are preparing a big tour for this year.
Juju Chang: Is there a name for the tour?
Magie: sure, it will be called "Mad House Tour", and it will have all Halloween, haunted house, theme, so we are very excited about this tour, because we are going to make some crazy stuff on it.
Robin: Ow, can you tell us?
Magie: No, it is secret, but definitely crazy stuffs will be going on in this tour!
Juju Chang: You guys released your third studio album four weeks ago and it got Platinum status of over one million records sold already. How do you feel about that! What is new in this album that makes it unique?
Magie: I think everything is new in this album, well in respect of our last albums, it is very different.
Yulia: we worked with different producers, like shelback, magnetic man, they're all from European electronic scene, so there is lots of euro beat on it, in our last album we did some very pop songs, but in this new album definitely there is no basic pop song.
Juju: what about your label SSR, Is Malory happy with the results?
Magie: You know, people think Malory is a business woman, that she kind of helped artist like Brittany Know reach mainstream, and of course helped us too in a bad moment we passed, but after all she is very sweet, and she lets the artist makes its art for itself, of course we showed her the songs, but we have done things for some time, so I think she trust on us.
Yulia: Malory is very sweet, and kind, and she has that vision of the future which guide us to do the right thing, she knows the stuffs in this business, so it is always a pleasure receive her advices.
Robin: that's it. We are going to a break and after it ElectroDeath will perform another song for us, stay tuned!
The next performance was form the song "Famou$", first single released of their last album. at The stage a big led screen opens revealing five dancers in a circle, when the song's introduction starts the dancers perform some robotic movements looking in from to the audience, undoing the circle to form a straight horizontal line reveling three girls, Magie who is wearing jeans and a shine silver shirt, Yulia wear heavy Glitter makeup, leather pants and a black torn shirt and Lilly who's wearing a black leather dress with heavy black shadow eyes. Magie starts the first chorus of the song which is "Famou$", followed to Yulia, and finally they sing the chorus together, in the chorus they perform the choreography with the five male dancers they brought to the studio, also they were wearing leather pants and they were shirtless, this choreography has makeable movements and very energetic steps, the second strophe is sung by Lilly, followed by Magie again, and once more they sing the chorus together, for the final strophe and final chorus, the dancers stands Magie simulating that she is a sacrifice, while Yulia and Lilly dance the choreography in front of the sacrifice, when they get Magie down against she is covered of Gold glitter, just like it was blood, and the girls ended the performance with a killer break dance, when Magie falls dead on the ground and Lilly and Yulia step above Magie's shoulder.Edited by user 04 February 2011 08:10:56(UTC)
