Pandora Boxx

Pandora Boxx, an indie band formed in Stoke-on-Trent, England, under the supervision of morute_. The group consists of Pandora, Siouxsie, Anna Nicole, and a variety of other session musicians. Despite their distinctly local origins, the members adopted stage names that seemed more suited to American tabloids than the Staffordshire music scene. Their music, a restless blend of lo-fi indie rock, distorted guitars, and internet-era pop sensibilities, gradually attracted a following online, where scattered uploads, obscure promotional material, and increasingly difficult-to-find releases fueled speculation about the band's history. Little is known about their formation, and morute_ has offered few details beyond its own carefully worded announcements. Whether Pandora Boxx were an ambitious local act caught in the machinery of an unforgiving label or something more deliberately manufactured remains unclear.
