About Kinetic in their own words
Kinetic is an electronic music trio hailing from Reykjavík, Iceland, known for blending high-octane Cyber-Trance and Melodic EDM with haunting, atmospheric Nordic folklore elements. Formed in 2024, the group consists of lead producer and DJ Freja "Valkyrie" Lind, analog synthesizer wizard Einar "Glitch" Hallsson, and vocalist/electric violinist Astrid "Aura" Björn. By pairing heavy, pulse-pounding basslines with ethereal vocal lines and distorted electric violin, Kinetic creates a soundscape that feels both technologically futuristic and deeply ancient. Their live performances are legendary for pairing raw, energetic drops with immersive laser setups designed to mimic the Northern Lights.
