"HOW TO DESTROY YOUR BOYFRIEND" PREMIERE
Glamazon is back with her new free EP Massacre which is being made available to fans one track at a time, before completing the full six track set.
"How to Destroy Your Boyfriend" is first on the track listing, and will be the first song used to promote the EP with an accompanied music video and will also be sent for adds on airplay. The song brings Glamazon into a more alternative-electro sound with her usual dark twist on it, and slight dubstep influences added into the production to give it a gritty feel to match up to the songs lyrics. "It's a song I wrote in ten minutes" Glamazon confesses, but assures it's one of the best ways to write a song, "I quite prefer a natural writing process when you just write and complete a song in that short space of time, because if you're going to sit around for hours, having no clue on what to write, then it feels more forced compared to writing when you feel inspired, the lyrics just flow a lot better."
"It's the angriest track I've ever done" she adds, "I think all of my revenge-filled lyrics have really led up to this one song because I'd say this is the most rebellious of them all. Lyrically, it may be no match up to some previous stuff I've done, but I didn't want to do anything complex with this, I wanted to keep it as simple as I could which is why I kept it to the bare minimum of just verses."
