Cherise: Hey guys thought I should officially announce on my site that the baby scan was fine all good and so far so good and due date is 23rd December so a Xmas baby yayyy, My plans for now are to continue working as much as I can honouring my commitments to Miss Vanity and Alicia Lena, then in September I will have some down time as I will be out of contract and spend some time preparing for mother hood with no pressures on me to produce material, of course I shall continue to write so long as being inspired and with baby bump I am sure I will be xx |

Cherise: Hey guys another fab awards show last night at Chaos.. left emptied handed again but what an amazing night, my performance was a little different to my usual thought i'd give it a try hope you liked it if you saw it xx if not here it is x As Cherise is introduced the lights go down, A lone spotlight shines on the stage as Cherise appears wearing a flowing long scarlet red dress the spotlight follows her over to a piano, she sits behind it.
"Good Evening Chaos Hope your having a good time this is 'Raw'.
Cherise starts to play the piano unaccompanied as she "mmmmm's" and "ooooh's" leadin into the first part of the song her voice sounds vulnerable and emotional. Cut like a knife, felt so much pain
walking alone, caught in the rain
don't know where i'm going to
or what i'm going to do
(ohhh ohhh ohhh mmmm) As Cherise reaches the chorus the tempo speeds up and she plays her heart out on the piano showing off a skill no one knew she had as her emotional voice sails through the chorus reaching all the long notes perfectly.you, you was my life

cut short, so cruelly

til death us do part As the chorus ends two backing vocalists appear at the side of the piano and adlib with haunting melodies of "oooh's" and humming as Cherise plays through the rest of her big ballad.felt it so deep, hurt so much

everything i had ever wanted and dreamed of

open and raw The spotlight fades out slowly as Cherise holds the long note on 'Raw' ending her note as it all goes black "Thank you Chaos" Cherise says as she leaves the stage |

Cherise Blog 30th May Hey guys long time since I wrote a blog.. how you all doing?? hope you all good!!
So as you all probably heard by now me and MattY are expecting a baby due 23rd December, as you all know through Chaos Mag and Twitter we don't shy away from arguments and things did get a little make or break but we have sorted ourselves out. Matty is currently in rehab doing his best and I am of course supporting him 100% not just for myself and him but for the baby as well.
So how's the baby going to effect me. Well not much really the year I had planned is still shaping up the same way really. Second album due end of July as planned I always wanted a quick release after 'Destination Unknown' as I was buzzing with so many songs and ideas which rather than do a re-release which I personally think are unfair on fans who already supported the album first time round, I wanted to bring you guys new material as soon as possible. You have already had snippets of 'Kinky Girlz' and new single 'Funkin' Me' plus as you saw the other night 'Raw' which I performed at Chaos Awards last week they are just 3 out of the 16 songs on the album. More details of the album will filter out over the next few weeks so stay tuned for that.
I am still supporting the fabulous Miss Vanity on her Oceania leg of her amazing 'Welcome To Hell' tour which kicks off in a few weeks so I have been busy rehearsing for that while MattY's away, keeps me occupied. I'll be back in the Uk start of July for 'Funkin Me' release and some album promo as well as getting ready for Alicia Lena guest slot in August.
After August I will be taking downtime to relax and prepare for motherhood and the joys it brings, I am really so excited and just want a healthy baby to love and nurture (hopefully not twins as they do run in my family as you know, think that would kill me off I know how hard my parents found it)
All being well I will spend the last few months of pregnancy writing and preparing for my third album and I will be back with a bang in 2012.

Here it is guys the follow up to 'Destination Unknown', this is 'The Other Sides Of...'
I feel a lot more mature than I did during the whole 'Destination Unknown' album process as I hope this album reflects, I have experienced different things and this album reflects a lot of that. From the disco thumping 'Funkin' Me' which you have already been treated to a snippet from to the R'N'B pop fused 'Kinky Girlz' then the raw power and emotion of 'Shy' and 'Raw'. The album stories good times, bad times and everything inbetween. This is the continuation of my journey and the start of another chapter in my life....
