Fathers of Fury, an Alternative Rock band from around Manchester in the UK, were formed in 2010 by friends Jack Straw and Isaac Thompson. The band went on to have great spells of success throughout 2010 and 2011 and after touring with the likes of Mind and Lily decided to go on a hiatus. Their two albums were huge successes for Rock music fans and catapulted the band into the fame and fortune that the boys had never even thought possible.

Amelia: I'm so glad that Fathers of Fury are returning! I was such a huge fan of all of you, especially Jack and Ollie ;) Now I get to be on the same tour as you too! Just don't get a restraining order against me ... I'm harmless, really!

Austin: And Amelia turns into a stalker! Awesome times!

DOB: 01/03/1986 (Current Age: 27)
Roles: Lead Vocals, Bass Guitar, Songwriting

Jack Straw is the front man of Fathers of Fury and was the original founder with Isaac Thompson. He was born on the 1st of March 1986, and is currently 27 years old. He does the lead vocals and plays the bass guitar, as well as writing the vast majority of the songs that Fathers of Fury have recorded.

He started to play the guitar at the age of 7, when his parents bought him a guitar for his birthday as well as the opportunity to take lessons. Jack's teacher got frustrated with how ridiculously slowly he was picking it up, and eventually discontinued his lessons. From this point, Jack taught himself using books and watching other people play. After the restrictions of the guitar teacher disappeared, Jack did actually start to pick it up a lot faster.

After he started secondary school, he met Isaac who had been playing the guitar since he was 4 years old. The two very swiftly became best friends and Isaac helped Jack to enhance his ability with the guitar. Unfortunately Jack's love for his music interrupted his school work significantly, and he failed to get the grades to continue at school after he turned 16.

Jack's lack of qualifications left him struggling to find work, so he ended up working for a local fast food restaurant. This was fairly short lived though, as after about 18 months his mother became very ill and he left his job to try to look after her. Unfortunately she died on his 20th birthday however; the untimely death of his mother pushed Jack's father into a state of depression, causing him to become alcohol dependent.

Jack struggled to get back into work again after being unemployed for around a year; and when he did find jobs they were only either temporary or he didn't last in them for very long. Fortunately he did however find a job working as a bartender at a music bar where there was live music three nights a week; this suited him very well as it helped him to maintain his love for music.

On a night out, Isaac and Jack went into a bar which had an open-mic night on. Isaac eventually convinced Jack to go up and do a song. The song he picked was Infinite's Supernova, he performed this to such a standard that the whole bar went silent and paid full attention to his wrenching vocal performance. This was the first time he had really realised his potential, and he regularly went back to the bar with Isaac for the next few years.

It wasn't until Jack turned 23 that he actually put the idea of being in a band to Isaac. The two of them were both very good musicians, and Jack was an incredible vocalist. All they needed know was a drummer, and that was when Freddie was introduced to Jack. The three played some good music together, but when it came to performing live, Isaac was too nervous to stand up and be the lead guitarist. The three of them placed an advert in the local papers, but the applicants weren't to the standard that they had hoped for and continuing the advert for too long was getting expensive.

The three gave up on becoming a proper band and so started jamming together in Freddie's garage. Then one day someone started banging on the garage door as they were playing. They opened up to see Ollie, who introduced himself and told them how he loved how they sounded. Jack and Ollie immediately hit it off and became very good friends, and it wasn't long before Ollie showed them what he could do with a guitar.

The now foursome played together for a short while before deciding to enter the Manchester Battle of the Bands. Unfortunately they finished second after performing an amazing cover of Infinite's Blue Nebula. The performance did however gain them a lot of followers, and they were very quickly selling out local gigs and getting interviewed on local radio stations. The boys were scouted by Junction Records and given a two album deal, which saw them through both of their album releases.

A few months after the release of the first single, Jack takes singer-songwriter Jenny Hudson to the Chaos Awards. This leads into a long term relationship, which unfortunately ended not long after the boys split up, with poor Jenny being involved in a car accident and unfortunately not surviving. Since Jenny, Jack has not had any serious relationships.

DOB: 12/07/1988 (Current Age: 25)
Roles: Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals, Songwriting

Ollie King is the lead guitarist of Fathers of Fury, and was the last member to join the band. He does lead vocals in a couple of the band's songs, but is mainly a backing vocalist and contributes regularly to the songwriting.

Ollie started playing guitar at the age of 4, his father was very wealthy and so bought him whatever he wanted. He had the best guitars available and the best tutor, and so very swiftly became very good at the guitar. Ollie was one of those people who was good at everything they did, whether it be academic, sporting, or even artistic, he was top of the class at school. This lead to a very split reputation for him at school.

He was part of a band during his secondary school days, and they were very very good - one of the best for their age in the whole of Oldham. As they got older, the four-piece developed very well, and were gigging all over the town and even going into Manchester and other surrounding cities to perform. The yearly Manchester Battle of the Bands was coming around and the boys had entered, but unfortunately Ollie tripped over a wire two days before the event while practicing, and ended up in hospital with a broken leg.

While Ollie was recovering, the rest of the band did their own thing, but they all agreed that they would reform when he had recovered. And they came back even better than before. The band was starting to get a lot more local coverage, and were doing bigger and bigger gigs, but then the Lead Vocalist and the Drummer had an argument, causing the drummer to leave them.

Over the next year, they had several replacement drummers, but they weren't to the standard of the previous guy. Ollie begged him to come back, and he did - on the condition that he would be gone forever if the vocalist got on his nerves again. The band continued to get great coverage and were actually offered a record deal with a local label, but as soon as this offer was put to them, the band split because the Drummer and Vocalist had another argument.

Ollie was in Salford one day, walking down the street towards his long term girlfriend Talia's house when he heard some loud music being played from a garage. He went and banged on the garage until someone opened up, and that was when he started talking to Jack for the first time. It didn't take long for Ollie to integrate himself into the band, and the chemistry between them all made it feel 100% right.

Ollie's relationship with Talia has been very on and off over the years, this not being helped by his 'enjoyment' of gambling. He has been known to be a regular at the casinos local to his London house, and has won and lost a lot of money on many occasions. He did eventually marry Talia, and she has helped him to recover from his mild gambling addiction.

DOB: 13/06/1986 (Current Age: 27)
Roles: Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals, Songwriting

Isaac Thompson is the rhythm guitarist of Fathers of Fury. He is also the original founder with Jack Straw. He was born on the 13th of June 1986, and is currently 27 years old. Isaac very occasionally contributes to the songwriting, leaving it mainly to Jack and Ollie, he does regularly contribute with Backing Vocals however.

Isaac's father had forced music upon him from a very young age, this was probably the only positive things Isaac's father ever did for him. Isaac's parents had a rocky marriage, it wasn't ever violent, just there was very little love between the two. After Isaac turned 9 however, his father left his mother and moved to Newcastle. Isaac's mother didn't hang around before getting a new partner, and they were married within the year - Isaac took an immediate disliking to his new step-father.

As he grew older, Isaac became more and more withdrawn, spending more and more time locked away in his bedroom getting lost in music. He was an incredible guitarist and wrote a lot of his own music, but he never had the confidence to put it into the public eye. Isaac met Jack Straw at his new school and they immediately hit it off, becoming best friends. Isaac's new stepfather grew incredibly frustrated with him, and after a particularly bad day at work - when he lost his job - he actually came home and beat Isaac.

This went on for several years, and if it hadn't been for Isaac's mother coming home from work early because she wasn't feeling very well, she would probably have never found out! She immediately kicked her husband out of the house and filed for divorce as soon as it was possible. She never married again.

After Isaac's stepfather left, he did slowly start to come out of his shell more and was more focused on his schooling. He came out of school with some very good grades and went on to college, where he met Freddie Johnson. Freddie looked out for Isaac, and almost developed an older brotherly connection with him, and when he left college Isaac had found a good group of friends.

At the age of 23, Jack put the idea of being in a band to Isaac. He accepted as it just meant he got to play more of his guitar, not expecting it to really go anywhere! They needed a drummer, and so he contacted his friend Freddie - fortunately he and Jack immediately hit it off. The two tried to convince Isaac that he was good enough to be the lead guitarist, but his confidence issues really took it out of him, and so he refused to be the lead. The three of them placed an advert in the local papers for a lead guitarist, but the applicants weren't to the standard that they had hoped for and continuing the advert for too long was getting expensive.

The three gave up on becoming a proper band and so started jamming together in Freddie's garage. Then one day someone started banging on the garage door as they were playing. DOB: 19/01/1985 (Current Age: 28)
Roles: Percussion, Drums

Freddie Johnson is the percussionist and drummer for Fathers of Fury. He was born on the 19th of January 1985, making him 28 now. He has very little to do with the songwriting for the band, but actually has a heavy influence in the composing of all of the music, with many of his ideas and his creativity freshening the songs up.

Freddie grew up on a council estate and didn't really have much to do with his parents. He was fending for himself from an early age, and as a result was thrown out of his first school for his violent/aggressive behavior. Freddie didn't really have any guidance until he joined his secondary school, where one of his teachers took him under his wing. He helped him get back on track and earned enough qualifications to go to college.

At college he met Isaac Thompson, and developed a protective older brotherly relationship with him. While he was at college he started working for a local nightclub as a bouncer. He did this job for four years until the nightclub closed down, and after this happened he struggled to find himself another job. He turned to alcohol and light drug abuse, but it wasn't until he got arrested for possession of illegal substances and ended up in hospital needing his stomach pumped that he realised that he needed to sort his life out. At this point Freddie bought a drum kit, he found hitting things helped to relieve stress, and he seemed to be a natural.

Freddie's friend Isaac got in touch with him asking him if he wanted to join his new band, he had heard about his issues and thought that it might help keep him out of trouble. Freddie showed them what he could do and pleasantly surprised Isaac and Jack.

He and Jack tried to convince Isaac that he was good enough to be the lead guitarist, but his confidence issues really took it out of him, and so he refused to be the lead. The three of them placed an advert in the local papers for a lead guitarist, but the applicants weren't to the standard that they had hoped for and continuing the advert for too long was getting expensive.
