ℋOT EYE RECORDS OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE ✉ A message from our Chairwoman & CEO Stephanie Fierce ✉ INTRODUCING OUR NEW LOGO:  New HOT EYE RECORDS™ logo as of 2020 ©2020 has been a year that not only has brought challenges to the music industry but the entire world. The impacts received from COVID-19 and the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and the many more lives tragically ended by police have been unmeasurably overwhelming. We as a record label stand with the BLACK LIVES MATTER movement and stand with our Black artists, partners, employees and consumers. In efforts to be involved; The ℋER Foundation will be donating during the next 10 years over 100 Million dollars to organization fighting racism around the world. The Fierce Foundation has donated 15 million for COVID-19 related programs and will be donating 20 Million to organizations fighting racism around the world. Proceeds and profits from our participating artists will also donated to those programs.
We've been hard at work here at one of the world's most renowned record labels and are happy to share some new updates regarding our development over the past year. As part of our 11th year anniversary celebration we've decided to reinvent our fiery eyed logo that has braced the artworks of many music projects and give it an updated new look. This new logo was designed by our Marketing Executive Nancy Lewis and her team and they are proud to share the inspiration that went into the making of the new reimagined logo.
"We have always loved our debut logo since the label first launched back in 2009 but it was time to give an update to those dark fiery red eyes. This new logo represents a more bright and prominent eye; the eye of a cheetah which is Fierce's personal favorite animal. We love the more yellow undertones; feels more warm and inviting than our previous logo. Fans of the original logo will always have the memrobeilia from the many album booklets and posters that have them but that logo will always have a special place in our hearts. We are however in a new era of music so we wanted to come out with something that reflected that. " - Nancy Lewis
With the ever changing music industry we have also introduced 2 new key departments in our label that will be managed by staff members of HER that were actually promoted within. Sherry Coleman has now been promoted as Head of Physical/Digital Sales and Stacy Love as Head of Radio/Streaming respectively. Both women promoted started out as interns at Hot Eye Records back in 2009; and now hold key titles with the record label. The two new departments will not only provide new job opportunities but will also give our artists/bands a chance to see more commercial success with their music.
"The physical and digital sales department will be in charge of distributing the music through various retail and digital outlets. We are partnering with the top music distributors so that our artists/bands have decent exposure through the sales market. As a woman of color I'm excited to represent this department" - Sherry Coleman
"The radio and streaming department will be charge of distributing the music through radio and streaming outlets across the board. As an independent label we always want out artist to be in control of how their music is played but we also strive for tasteful and representable commercial success. This department is now looked as the heart of the label and I have big shoes to fill. I'm excited to be a part of the team and as woman leader" - Stacy Love
Also new to the roster is Josh Foreman who's now taken John Miller's place after retiring from the label as President of A&R.
With all of these new changes in effect we still have decided to keep our mission statement the same and at heart. We do hope that artists out there consider us when scouts are in their area as we are always growing as a family unit. ℋOT EYE RECORDS OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE ✉ A message from our Marketing Executive Nancy Lewis ✉  New building purchased by Hoy Eye Records™ We are delighted to announced that Hot Eye Records™ has closed its home location and moved to a bigger and newer building down the block in the infamous commercial street of Manhattan, New York. This new 7 story building will house all of our corporate offices and record label departments. The new building contains electronic billboard windows which will be used to promote music projects from our label out to any street bystander. The building will also feature a first of its kind underground music venue for our home artists to perform and a retail store that will sell music by artists from our label in the forms of cassette, Vinyl, CD's and other formats. The store will be open to the public with a reservation system to limit capacity this Fall 2020.
HER MUSIC VENUE (Coming Spring 2021; Underground)
- Sound-proof high quality theatre style venue that houses up to 1,000 concert seats
- Artists/Bands from the label and/or its partners can hold concerts and private events
- Music conventions and label team meetings can be held
HER MUSIC STORE (Coming Fall 2020; 1st floor)
- Retail style store that will sell merchandise, music, posters, magazine and much more from HER artists/bands.
- Will allow music fans to listen to never before heard music and snippets of future releases from HER artists/bands.
- Will have a free reservation system to limit capacity in the store.
HER APP (Coming August 2020)
- New APP will allow fans to keep up with artists/bands from the label with exclusive content
- Reservation system for HER STORE
- Purchase ticket for HER MUSIC VENUE
