The label was created by American singer-songwriter 'Brandon Caulfield' following his departure from former label 'Studio60 Records', it will be used as a means to releasing his own material without outside interference and will also be used as a alternative route for Country and Americana artists should they choose to join the label. It was created alongside fellow musician and long-time friend JR Rhythm and will specialize in Americana, Blues, Country, Folk and Rock music. The official press release from Brandon Caulfield was as follows; Quote:“I'm truly pleased to announce the launch of Southbound Records here in Nashville. It's an opportunity for myself to put something back into the music industry and hopefully bring to attention a lot of exciting and talented new artists and groups in the alternative field, specifically Country and Americana. It's an exciting project that I've had in my mind for many years now and to see it finally come to fruition brings a lot of renewed energy and excitement for me. I envision this label as a true grass roots project that can help develop and nourish young artists and musicians and truly give them a platform to let their music be heard. I will be working alongside two key trusted personnel in JR Rhythm and Adeline Mulligan and have already got some exciting artists coming your way very soon. I'm sure this will involve a lot of hard work and dedication but I feel like the time is now to make this positive step forward and I hope that many of you are willing to listen to what we have to offer and support these future stars of their fields flourish greatly.”

“We're delighted to announce the newest member of our 'Southbound Records' family today with 'Haley Caulfield' set to begin her music career journey with us. The Nashville native may be familiar to some for her work as a photographer to some of the stars in the music industry and may be recognised as the younger sister of our very own 'Brandon Caulfield'. It may have been a little while coming but she's finally ready to begin putting her music to the test having played many bars and clubs around Tennessee. Inspired and influenced by a number of country and pop artists like Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton. She brings her own experiences to life in her songwriting and is sure to find her own unique path in the industry.”

Check out the latest releases from the Southbound Records family. On February 2, 2020 'The Torchlight Revival' released their debut E.P "1937" which peaked at the top of the charts. They went on to release their debut single "Jukebox Casanova's" on April 13, 2020 which debuted at #9 on the singles chart, capping off a strong start to the new year ahead of the recording of their debut album expected later this year.
Brandon Caulfield released the lead single from his upcoming album "Straight On Out" on April 25, 2020 which debuted at #2 on the singles chart ahead of anticipation for his next full length studio album, coming soon.

In other news, we're delighted to announce that the new album from the founder of 'Southbound Records' Brandon Caulfield will be released this summer, with the first images of the album cover also being shared today. The album will mark his seventh studio album and will be titled "Of Mice And Men", the record will also include recent single "Straight On Out". In the final stages of post-production, we'll be able to share the official release date and complete tracklisting within the next couple of weeks. |
