Why Tabletop Loves City-Themed Album Covers

Hi!
We are Tabletop - the creators of albums such as pecunia and Sonder <3
So, why do we enjoy having album covers with city imagery? Well, the reason is fairly simple: we believe they encapsulate the feeling of being part of something bigger - society. Covers such as these makes us feel important and that we do have purpose within the universe (even if we don't lol). The colour palette, we feel, also reflects the sound we would like to achieve within experimental art rock such as ours. The psychedelic images display the albums' themes, of which include confusion, yet also, clarity for the world we love in - why are we here?
Although, this can be repetitive, so we try to venture out of our comfort zone with covers such as Alexithymia. That specific cover idea was created due to the EP's title; Meaning the inability to describe or discern your feelings, we displayed this through the cover art by using thermal photography to represent the warmth of the feelings inside that people with Alexithymia cannot say.
Overall, we simply try to portray feelings through our covers and so who knows what our next one will be? Thank you for reading! We hope you have found this interesting and that you'll hopefully continue to be interested in us - Tabletop!
Lots of Love,
Charlotte, Tom, George and Beatrix xxx
