M1 WEST ★
About M1 WEST in their own words
M1 WEST are a British R&B trio from the English Midlands, combining smooth vocals, melodic harmonies and UK rap influences.
Made up of three members, each brings something different to the group.
Kyle Barker – Lead vocalist from Wolverhampton, delivering the powerful hooks, smooth melodies and emotional vocals.
Josh B – Vocalist from the Kettering area, near Leicester, adding harmonies, melodic vocals and a smooth R&B sound.
Kurt Edge – Rapper from Wolverhampton, bringing attitude, confident verses and hip-hop influence.
Inspired by modern R&B, UK urban music and boy-band harmonies, M1 West explore love, heartbreak, temptation, nightlife and ambition. Their name represents the journeys connecting their hometowns and their ambition to put the Midlands on the music map.
