Pamela Evette’s Revenge knows they’re weird. They know, with a name like that, they’re courting controversy. Yet, isn’t that the point? Formed on June 23rd, 2026 by five college students/chums in South Carolina, their songs harken back to the golden days of hardcore punk: songs under 2 minutes, scorching chord changes, and breakneck speeds. As for the lyrics, well, they hold a hell of a lot of anger towards the state’s attorney general and an odd fondness for the state’s lieutenant governor. Asked why they chose such a name for their band, the responses were as follows. “Alan Wilson sucks and he shouldn’t be the nominee,” said bassist Pete. “Mind you,” began vocalist Phil, “we think both sides are trash, but we especially despise Wilson.” “And, call me crazy, but politics aside, Pam kinda, sorta is a fox,” added drummer Steve.
